Don't you think Warrior Forum marketplace has getting less traffic and responses?

It's been few over a few months since Warrior has become really slow in traffic (especially when you have a thread in the market place).. I seriously don't understand what's actually wrong there.

I think the admins just have to look into the quality of eproducts on WSO. Its getting worse by the day.

You're supposed to take the good information here and apply them to your website. If you don't OWN WarriorForum, then focus on making money from your own piece of real estate: your website. And if you want some old school marketing jewels... use the search function at the top of the screen and type in your inquiry.

I'm grateful for this forum. I learn new things all the time from the newbies who join this site. It's still great in my opinion.

I'm not sure whether or not you're talking about the WSO marketplace alone or the whole forum, but either way there's a lot less traffic to this site.

I think that one of the biggest reasons for that is the lower quality of content.

If you weren't familiar with the Warrior Forum a few years back, you won't know what I'm talking about but once upon a time, this forum had much better discussions (or at least not as many low quality threads).

There are still a few older members (and some rare newer members) who still try to add value to the discussions here but the Warrior Forum needs some serious work.

    Regards,
    Daniel

It does feel like overall traffic here is down. Definitely not as active. Like others have mentioned, it's a good reason to create your own web presence so you're not dependent on someone else. There's still a lot of valuable info here, it just takes time to search for it.

Yes, this place definitely feels a lot "slower" than when I first started posting here back in 2008. In fact, I feel like the quality of discussion on just about every major IM forum seems to have gone down.

Even though traffic is down, the actual offer itself might be the problem. I just looked at your two offers and saw a lot that could be changed or improved that may result in more sales.

      Just for starters:

      1. You list Mailchimp integration but many/most here use Aweber or Getresponse and Mailchimp is generally looked down on. Knowing the group you are getting involved with can help overcome problems like this. Some may ask you if you can integrate other systems but some will just pass.

      2. There are no trustworthy reviews. Many folks with offers such as yours will give people free service in exchange for a review. Those that have reviews, especially by longstanding members, seem to get more traction.

      3. Your portfolio is too small to be able to see it and make a decision on the quality you offer.

I find this to be an over all shift in the market place. That has nothing to do with warrior forums. People are just not as inclined to give out free information they seem to want charge for everything. This leaves the new guy with a problem on his or her hands.
1 Not very many places to go for help or advice with out paying.
2 Some people are afraid to ask a question here because depending on what the question and the tone of the question your going to get flamed by someone.
3 To many topics/people with no value. Just takers not enough givers.
4 Most of the older members have just simply moved on to other things and do not come here they all ready got while the getting was good and bye bye. They are not in the mood to hear the same problems being posted in different threads by different people who do not even bother doing some research before asking anything. I am guilty of doing this some times. I do not mind helping someone out. I enjoy helping people but if your not even going to attempt to think for yourself I can not help someone like that but if you are helping your self then I will help you help yourself.

  • Initially the warrior forum marketplace was the main place to buy IM product courses etc, but then when jvzoo came on the scene it became more popular for people to sell products via a sales page rather than in a forum thread on here so that could have changed things slightly. That could account for a significant drop in traffic.

As for WSOs...Well people certainly took the advice they received or read in the forum about "Taking Action". But preparation should have been tied to that.

You may even see some paid for Sales Page Templates in a WSO with huge typos in them. It really is the quality of the product that counts but will a visitor ever convert to a buyer if we do not make a good first impression?

In any case we have to adapt. Send traffic to your WSO yourself. Link to it via any medium you can think of. Social, videos, articles, groups (if allowed) even classifieds.

Some people are doing their homework on "WSO Creation" but not so much on "Product Launching". They have to go hand in hand.

I am sure Freelancer is in the lab working on the Traffic topic.

Well personally I try and visit Warrior at least once every day (even if I don't post!) and I don't think I ever go away thinking I never learnt something!

There does seem to be the never ending stream of 'what do I do to make money?' threads which hint at the search function not displaying properly on everyones computer but sometimes these threads can produce some interesting and unique replies, so not all bad really!

    Cheers
    Jon

    I think it's a myriad of things;

    1. The majority of WF traffic comes from the US. Right now, the US economy is doing really well compared to several years ago. 2008 - 2102, a lot of people were out of work or stuck in jobs they hated with no options. IM probably looked really tempting.

    2. Too many takers, not enough givers. People are not as generous with information as they used to be.

    3. New WF ownership. terrible support, the war room went up to $97 a year, etc.

I'm sure there are other reasons I haven't thought up. Now, on the flip-side, I think most of us are happy this forum is even here to begin with, so that's something to be grateful for.

The viewing figures on the front page are probably correct but no idea how long the time-out is before they're considered as no longer viewing. If that was set to a few minutes then the figure would be much different from a few hours.

In terms of activity, I've noticed the forum slowing down a lot over the last year or so. You've only got to look at the times on the threads to see that.

The WSO section: most sellers don't use it as the "just looking" traffic isn't strong.

Things change: I'm in a couple of Facebook groups where the purpose of the group is targeted which means the posts are relevant and often frequent. Others are in Skype chats. etc.

As others have said, the price hike on the War Room probably hasn't helped.

Dip in as much as you find it useful but focus on growing your business first and foremost. Come back here or elsewhere for specific pointers on specific topics, then go away and implement them.

Too many $17 products that consists of A 30 Pages eBOOK...This is a complete steal!

My WSO is 80 videos of about 5 to 10 minutes each, and I sell it for $17.

Almost every single person that bought e-mailed me before asking if my WSO is as bad as all the other ones...So I guess that i'm not the only one who thinks most WSO out there are bad. I've got 3 refunds on almost 400 sales so I guess my product is quality

Also, one thing i've noticed in the forum is people with thousands of posts who are way too negative with the newbies. A new person ask a question, then the person with thousands of posts comes in and make fun of him or her....Of course that person will not stay.

By creating really high quality threads with in-depth discussions about IM related topics. Over time, some of the previously highly regarded members will return when they see the quality of discussion has improved.

It's unlikely to rise back to how it was. The fact is, forums just aren't as popular now as they were years ago. The rise in popularity of social media has made sites like FB the go-to place for a meeting of minds.

People are now more cautious about getting scammed in the WSO section, there was a lot of garbage ,re-hashed PLR's lying around in that section recently in the last couple years so as a result of this there's no buyers as before.

Recently i purchased a wso and it turned to be the exact same course by Billy Gene FB Ad agency!! but the difference is that the wso creator just re-hashed the info and put it in a PDF format
