I'd like to promote a high-ticket coaching program, but I don't how to advertise it? What would be the best method of promoting so I can get high converting traffic? Should I use paid or free advertising? Should I contact blog owners? Any advice would helpful.

    What I would highly recommend is to build your own Branded Blog.

    And start branding it all over the internet. Share a little bit of the knowledge you provide to some of your customers. And even if you publish some of the same knowledge you teach - people will still pay you for your Coaching.

    I have done this before. I have charged up to $220 per coaching session (which would be from 1 to 3 hours long). I got clients just from Facebook.

    What I have done is Build Up my Facebook Network with people in my Niche (internet marketing). Then I would share valuable tips with others and valuable blog posts - this allowed me to brand myself as someone who really knows about Internet Marketing, Blogging, SEO, etc.

    I have also gotten results with the same knowledge I teach - and I made sure to promote my results. This makes people want to learn more from you and eventually ask you about your Coaching Program.

    You have to become a Product of your Product - and then promote your results all over the internet. (Blogs, Articles, Social Media, SEO, Video, Audio, ebooks, etc.)

    This would be Free Targeted Traffic, of course. And it really does bring in sales - if you learn how to monetize the traffic very well, that is.

    You can also (and maybe should) invest in some Paid Traffic. Just make sure you have a good budget to start and that you don't mind "losing" this money - because it might happen.

    With Paid traffic you have to make sure you know exactly what you are doing. It is not about paying for traffic and wait to get sales/customers. If you do this wrong, you might just lose money.

    I would recommend to start with free traffic generation strategies. Building your own blog and learning how to rank in the search engines - would be a great start.

    You need to also Brand the heck out of your blog and yourself. Use Social Media to showcase your knowledge.

    Attraction marketing would also work great for a Coaching Program. You just have to become a Product of your Product - you get what I mean?

    When people see what you have accomplished with what you know - they will automatically become very curious about you and what you know. And then they will come to you. People will be attracted to you if you implement everything the right way. This is the best way to get clients, in my opinion (when people are genuinely interested in your knowledge and expertise).

    I hope this helps!

    Keep up the great work!!

    Cheers!

    I would recommend you give away free content to build a list and then provide that list with some of your best strategies.

    After you have built credibility with this list then you can promote your coaching program.

    You can buy solo ads to build your list or use several free traffic resources (if you know how to find them).

    Have evidence of your successful coaching available on your website (or anywhere you are going to be advertising.) Proof needs to be accessible. Testimonials, case studies, make use of review sites.
    This may seem like an obvious step one, but there are plenty of people out there willing to sell their 'How To Win' kindle books for £20 a pop without even any tangible success and the pure data to back it up. The same goes for coaching or just about any subject where you're teaching, advising or giving guidance.

    Contacting other blog owners is a good start. You should reach out to people in your niche. Guest posts, Youtube features, are you open to collaboration? Use the audience of others where possible to get exposure. You must bring value to these audiences.

    Attend relevant events and network.
    Think about your audience wants and needs - this will give you huge indications and guidance on where you should be advertising and how you advertise it. What are you offering them and what makes your coaching program more valuable than the next guy/girl?

    I can see paid advertising working for you if you have the right information about your audience and a great website set up. For example, with Facebook ads you can really define who that ad is being shown to, and as you're after clients who earn a certain amount and are looking for a very specific thing, it feeds right into it.

    Make sure your website is set up for lead generation with forms and landing pages.

    High quality solo ads should work for that as well.

    You can't expect people to pay you a few thousands of $ without having a relationships with them...

    You need a value ladder. You offer them value, then they buy a low price product from you ($10 or something), then you bring MORE value, then you sell them something $50, then you bring MORE VALUE, then you sell something for a few hundreds or a monthly subscription, then you add MORE value, then you sell your high ticket product.

    You need a funnel that converts the customer. This is how it works.

    I've attended a Tony Robbins Seminar not so long ago...Click HERE for the complete review and breakdown of the event..

    People probably found tony robbins through books or youtube ( $15 books or free content on youtube), they go value from it so they probably invest in one of his audio program ( more expensive) then got a lot of value from it, so decided to attend unleash the power within, a seminar that costs around $600....They then got so much value from that that they probably registered ( they sell you the other seminars at the event) for Date with destiny, which is another program that sells for like $5000...People that went there got so much value that they probabl decided to enroll in Mastery university, which is like $15 000..

    And so on,

    Up to the point where someone get coached personally by Tony Robbins for $1 million per year.

    Think in terms of a value ladder. At first you offer less value but you charge less, and as you go up in the ladder ( and people trust you more) you charge more and deliver more personalized value.

    Is this your program or someone elses?

    If someone elses.... its easiest if you:

    * have a list where folks listen to what you share

    If its your program?

    Build up a network of rabid fans.

    What works best for me personally:

    * Product creation

    * FB group interactions

    * Forum interactions

    Other people use Instagram, Pinterest, their blogs and the like.

    But the truth is, laying the groundwork FIRST will make profiting that much easier.

    Hope that helps!

    Paid ads is the way to go and make sure that you track everything to see which convert for you and which don't.

    Free webinars are the best way to go as far as I'm concerned. This is assuming you have some sort of list to promote to. Most of the coaching webinars I've attended offer considerable value, whether you decide to purchase or not. In other words, the good ones are not a waste of time and build goodwill for possible purchase at a later date.

      Thanks for the advice everyone. The coaching program is in the online marketing niche and I'm just an affiliate of the program. I already have a list that I could promote to, but I don't know how responsive they'd be. I was also thinking about trying Bing PPC to help target my audience.

        Just curious did you participate in the coaching program yourself? If so, didn't they teach you how to promote things or was it a different online marketing topic?

        If you didn't participate in the program, how can you say it's any good?

    If I were running a high end coaching program, I would without a doubt use stealth seminar (auto webinars), and market the landing page using paid Facebook ads.

    I think your best bet on selling the high ticket coaching is by building a buyers list.

    Start of by creating small low ticket offers that are about the topic your coaching involves.

    Sell those low ticket trip wire products and get a buyers list growing. Build trust with the list by providing value in the follow ups and promote your high ticket coaching.
