How This "Tiny" Firefox Plugin Will Bless You With A "Large" Increase In Your Productivity...

I know this is a big problem for a lot of us who
work online - distractions and information overload.

We check the email. We log into forums. We
read gossip news. We engage in unnecessary chatter...

And this can suck precious productivity from us
whereby we could have better use it to do
something more worthwhile...

Like writing a sales letter...driving traffic...or
making a courtesy call to an affiliate who have
been driving you ton of traffic lately...


Here's a quick fix dirty solution: - get the "LeechLock" plugin

It blocks blood sucking time-wasting site that
murders your productivity.

You can block them a period of time. And you
can focus this block of "free time" to quickly
do much needed work that can bring you profit.

After which you can then reward yourself
by surfing these "blocked" sites after you
get what you want done - done!


Here are more details of what it does:

All you need to do is specify which sites to block and when to block them.

- You can specify up to six sets of sites to block,
with different times and days for each set.

- You can block sites within fixed time periods
(e.g., between 9am and 5pm), after a time limit
(e.g., 10 minutes in every hour), or with a combination of
time periods and time limit
(e.g., 10 minutes in every hour between 9am and 5pm).

- You can also set a password for access to the
extension options, just to slow you down in
moments of weakness!

- The sites to block can be specified using wildcards
(e.g., *.somesite.com) and exceptions
(e.g., +allowme.somesite.com).

- LeechBlock also keeps track of the total amount of
time you have spent browsing the sites in each block set.


I've exploded my productivity after using this
crazy little plugin. I wish I've had discovered this
earlier.

Very cool plugin! Most people would look at this is an extreme but if you do it in this way with focused chunks of time, you're looking at tons more product work, that's for sure.

I'm sure people will get great value out of your post. Kyle Tully recommended "Self Control" for Mac because Self Control goes to the core of the OS, so one can't switch to another browser.

This is good for the creative type as well and good if one offers certain services where they don't have to get back to people right away and that customers are cool with it and/or are aware of a delay in time for email replying.

I have my favorite sites as well so it helps tremendously and these tools really help stuff get done if one of your focuses is content creation.

Similar concepts and are noted in different, well respected time productivity courses for marketers.

I like to add on a bit more here...

Tony Schwartz, the productivity guru, said that
self discipline is overated!

A lot of us don't have it. If you think about it, it's true.

If you are stuck in a habit of engaging time-wasting
activities, you will keep repeating it.

Even with LeechBlock on, I still mes, subconsciously find myself
clicking to other sites when I should have been hard at work.

And when LeechBlock blocks the site, I will be going..."Damn!
There goes my chance to slack off...!"

The truth is - LeechBlock has "saved" myself on committing crimes
on time-sucking activities countless times.

Some may view it as extreme, but it is necessary.

Because it forces you to stick at working on something
- 1 at a time (no multi-tasking!) - which you otherwise may
find it extremely hard to do on your own.
