What's Your Opinion About HYIP

HYIP stands for High Yield Investment Programs

I joined one six months ago and the returns have been phenomenal.

However, many have folded. There are still only a handful that are top money makers.

Do you participate in HYIP? What if there was a guaranteed return?

I personally only feature on my blog strictly companies that have a tangible product and get past those that peddle digital dust. I want your input as your feedback can help me enlighten part of my campaigns based on how to position an offer.

I am about to plunge deep on a PPC project and push the envelope further. This is a huge market and the dividends are gargantuan for everyone in the game.

I would advise against most HYIPs.

A much better alternative is to invest in high performance REITs (Real Estate Investment Trusts) or index funds which track the top performing company stocks within a specific category.

REITs are typically high-yield but very transparent: https://www.reit.com/investing/reit-basics/what-reit

As for index funds, it's incredibly low risk due to the low fees and the diversified portfolio that automatically selects the highest performing companies within a category... No index fund provider does this better than Vanguard.

There's a reason Warren Buffet made a $1,000,000 bet against Protege Partners by investing in index funds: Warren Buffet's $1 Million Hedge Fund Bet: What You Need to Know

Of course, don't take my word for it...

Do your research and learn about investing, and be VERY wary of HYIPs.

    Regards,
    Daniel

my sister lost $13k USD in a HYIP scam.

Do it if you want to lose money.

Dont do it, if you want to save your hard earned money.

They are basically just ponzi schemes, they pay the older investors with newer money. They do not invest in the market, or bonds, like they say they do. That is totally false.

Learn how to invest in ETF's as they are quite profitable, and we are still in a bull market.

Plus if you did not know ETF's do have tax benefits, if you start making big money, which is even better.

    Hope this helps.

They are all ponzi/pyramid scams dressed up in different disguises. It is possible to make a lot of money if you time it right by getting in early and getting out before they fold. What that means though is you are making money off of all the people that invested later and lost everything. Many years ago I was naive and did not understand how it worked. I made a lot of money but finally quit doing it when I realized I was taking advantage of a lot of innocent people that were blindly investing money in the hopes of getting rich.

The other way to make money from them is to be an affiliate and to sucker people into the scheme. I could not live with myself doing that. A good conscience is more important than money.

True to that. I'm getting referrals en masse and don't see myself flinching. I would be nuts if I did. Everybody is already in profit so it's worth the risk. Interesting views and perspectives, I like that.

Worth the risk? Are you kidding or do you just
        not understand what you're risking?

        Criminal charges.... financial ruin...most of
all your personal reputation and integrity.

A few hundred easy dollars are worth all that?

I simply don't understand how you can simply say a HYIP is a ponzi/scam.
I have been investing in HYIP'S since last 1 year. There have been many programs which are doing well for over a year.
The risk is always there. Even in IM, there is no guarantee that u will make money even if u buy a 5k product.
Start small, invest small and do not risk more than what u cannot afford.

Contact me if there is someone who needs assistance with HYIP'S.

This is how I make money online two years ago.
I've make a big income from this business, my method is : joining a new hyip with big profits. And just invest for short time (3 or 5 days) and withdraw all of my money.
It's simple but the profit is for real.

HYIP open up and fold all the time.
If you're into that kind of thing (check your local jurisdiction's laws - they are almost always deemed illegal), your best strategy is to go in EARLY.
I'm not condoning this type of 'business model' but common sense tells me that these businesses are all about getting in quick and not being left holding the (empty) bag.

HYIP lol those were the days.... I know all about it. There's a reason why you cant trace these people and the way they accept payment bitcoin / digital currency. Harrie, just because you "made money", doesn't mean its not a scam. Try putting in $1,000 and watch it disappear.

I have already added more than $1000 in different programs and making money.
Being in this industry for long time helps.

I have a $500 investment at one of the sites and made double already.
I prefer to make money the risky way .

Same thing goes for WSO. Just because you made money with a wso doesn't mean it will make me money,,

I've also noticed that huge risks could equal to big gains.

      yes micheal!

why do you think they USE bitcoin,

because they can run at any minute, there is no name, or account attached to this, just a number.

1000's of HYIP using bitcoin have ended up with many people losing HUGE money.

      Just saying.

      ABSOLUTELY, Robert.

Boy, as a 17-year fraud fighter, this hit a raw nerve.

Let's get things straight - There are HYIP scams and hyip scams.

The all caps are big money scams involving fake Letters of Credit, fake financial document traders, promises of ridiculous returns, and fall guys who are given returns so they will run out and bring in more victims. Period. Unwitting victims invest 10's of 1,000's of dollars in those scams because getting straight answers from bankers and banking books is nearly impossible, and the scammers make use of semi-legal and actual trade instrument language.

The hyip club scams depend on small dollar volume with promises of financially impossible returns* rather than large money victims. Plus, since scammers are the world's best marketers, they know that few will invest the minimum dollar amount and use plenty of incentive for viewers to go batshit with their rent money.

      * The best return you can get on your funds in legitimate investments is a high risk $20%, maybe 24% annual. Anything higher than that is simply not real or even feasible in the real world. If you have an investment on which you are promising a 300% return, that means you have to pay the investor $3,000. ???

Tracking the site owners down, you will find them on private servers in Russia and other former Soviet Union countries, as well as in the countries with a significant population of Nigerian emigres. They are also located in Asia, a real cesspool of scammers.

The methodology is the same - give other people's money to a patsy so he or she will run around bringing in other victims.

Then POOF! They're gone, never to be seen again unless you know how to track them down, because they never have just one site doing a killing, they have dozens, even hundreds. Sometimes it's just one guy, sometimes it's a team. And not hard to convict when hunted down. << That's personal experience talking

There are even those who support the industry with turnkey web sites and tools. Used to be, the only way you could cash out your earnings was through spurious Russian exchange sites that popped up when bitcoin was invented. Basically, they were money laundering sites.

So Andrew, you are either trolling or don't understand how the scam works. If you really do have earnings as you showed (I mean, earnings reports are SO easy to create), cash out and run.

I completely agree, but you can do better on investments, it's just highly inconsistent and swings wildly. If you leveraged stock or purchased leveraged ETFs, you COULD do better, but it's not something that would be sustainable.

Also, any time there is a promise of a return, that's really when you need to think hard about what you're doing.

From experience, when there's a promise of a return and it's completely legitimate, the returns are extremely low, examples: stocks that pay dividends and bonds.

I own some stocks that pay dividends and it's nice to get checks for $500 here and there, kind of a lot of money tied up to get that though...

Not a big fan, I lost $300 in Amway at age 17... learned some priceless insights, and even started my own business at age 18 after hearing Zig Ziglar speak at one of their conventions.

I actually joined a company called EDC (earn daily cash) and while Dave Dubbs (I think his name was) could sell like a mofo.. I lost a $1,000 - and in truth, was a great lesson, as I saw they were holding weekly meeting and 'selling picks and shovels' to us... the newbie gold diggers... every week, it was some 3rd party traffic provider, or new software... all they really had was a pyramid scheme, pushing PLR sh!t... and fed on the dreams (and greed) of the ignorant who bought into their BS!

Even Amway has disastrous success ratings (I think it was like 90% failure rate or something, last I read), the only reason they're still in the game is because they push the focus on real products... and mask the 'pyramid as a secondary focus - as in, they teach to you sell the products first, recruit second... anytime the money is made pushing junk (like plr) just to mask the primary focus of recruitment... you can bet... here today, gone tomorrow.

Now, Mary Kay, Avon, Amway... there are legit ones... but; No Thanks! not into MLM;s

I just love it when people who have no idea about HYIP'S come and mix it with Ponzi or MLM.

There are programs who have been paying since more than 1 year.
It is just like another method of making money. U lose somewhere, u gain somewhere.

Don't be a clown mate! Fact is HYIP is a ponzi scheme. Its not about the method of making, what we're trying to let everyone know is that pretty all HYIP programs are Ponzi schemes. Think about it, how the hell can someone guarantee 5% per day? If you go into HYIP expect to LOSE money and anything else is a bonus. You don't really have any control.

With a WSO at least you can put in hard work to make it work.

You're better off going to a casino and having some fun with the money, at least you get a real chance to win. You can kid yourself and time the opportunity to jump in and out all you want but its still a scam ponzi.

I know this from experience, another story for another day. This one is really too good be be true at least for the last person to gets into the program.

Hmmm, better stay away from all HYIP...

But if you still want to join HYIP ... Look for the new site stands about 1/2 weeks and have payment through Paypal.

    Why?
    1. Likely to be paid is still there, because the new site would have to put confidence for people to invest there ... so you're happy to help advertise their site as well.
    2. With Paypal, we can make a dispute when there is a problem ...
