Hi, everyone i'm looking to create an authority site in the self-help niche and was wondering should I go more for the self-branding approach and creating my own products or just brand the website and promote other products? Thanks...

    Ideally, you should sell your own products
    You get more control over pricing, quality, and the relationship you're creating with your buyers
    However, if you're new to the world of conversions, you might want to 'cut your teeth' selling affiliate products.
    Once you get a feel for how to convert your traffic into dollars, sell your own products since you're using a branded authority content platform as your business model.

    Do both. Very few marketers promote their own products exclusively.

    Do you have the experience and knowledge to create your own products? Isn't easy and you should work super hard to achieve that.

    Maybe you should start promoting some affiliate products while you gain experience. You have more time to think about a great product and create something awesome, maybe even more than just a single product.
