I am doing some work where I need to show users logged in from different geographic locations when they are really at the same collocation. I am told that IP Hide Tools can accomplish this but I am not that familiar with this area. Does anyone have a package you like better than another? I used to use one a few years back but it has bit the dust -and it didn't do anything like this.
Thanks in advance everyone.

Are you looking for free tools or paid? From my personal experience I can say that free tools are not to effective. You can try HMA VPN but the best way of hiding your IP and protecting your privacy is using private proxy. I am using Blazing proxy. It is fast and reliable.

I agree with Fredi. Paid tools are more effective.

The VPN market has changed a Lot the last few years

once upon a time hidemyass was the status quo

however these days the "free" ones are almost as good, of course they want you
to upgrade for speed and more locations, however I have a few good free ones installed in a few browsers.

    My Tip:

upgrade both Firefox AND also Opera

then go to both sites and search for a vpn plugin

    there are PLENTY!

You can either look for a Vpn or proxy service. Just out of curiosity. Why?

Well Chris, you asked him, but i also have an answer:

because my ISP injects ad-tracking and serves ads on every page i access

and they are a huge ISP but dont have the infrastructure to serve all customers

so sometimes they are overloaded, just when i want to reply to a message here

they say: site cannot be found, and serve THEIR ads instead

of course you could fire them, but why not use a vpn instead? Problem solved.

Of course you could use a VPN, but why not just fire them (change to a different ISP) instead?

I really don't understand your thought process, but maybe you are constrained by the availability of reasonably priced services.

Is it safe to say that you have opted for a cheap (or free) ISP at the expense of being served ads, so you are now going to the trouble of installing multiple VPNs in multiple browsers just to avoid those ads?

If so, is it really worth it? Could you not find a reasonably priced ISP and forego that additional effort?

well, yes and no. i'm about to switch anyway in the near future, depending on the location i'll be in, what is unclear at the current moment.

On a tropical island most providers are into WIFI, only 5 are fibre optic, and pricing is high for that except 2 that are "cheap" however both belong to the only giant in that industry, nobody else has truly unlimited fat pipes as these guys.

Yes and VPN plugins take 3 minutes to install, what a total no-brainer.

Identity Cloaker is the only one I have direct experience in using, and it was several years ago. But, they're still around, reasonably priced, and the service works well. You can choose from locations all over the world when you use it.

Just for the basic work of hiding my IP, I use Hotspot Shield which is FREE. I have also used a paid one called Hide My Ass which was equally good...

HMA VPN is one of if not thee best. 12 bucks a month, simple to download and install, no tech knowledge needed to use it, just turn it on and thats it.

    any free reliable VPN ?

I would not recommend you to use any free vpn service because at the end, they all end up having connectivity and other bandwidth issues. The paid ones are also to be selected quite carefully, like look for their reviews on shareware sites and also ask your circle whether any one of them is already using one.

The best IP hide tool that I have tested and tried for around the years is a vpn server. If you really want some genuine protection against the malicious hacking attempts than you would need to a deploy server to secure your connection. I have been using a vpn connection, Purevpn, for over 3 years now and have found it to be of great help. For instance, last year I went for vacation , and while carrying out banking transactions and booking flights I always used to secure myself first. Similarly, to stream online content freely, vpn is the best option to hide your IP.
