Banner advertising bought from the site owner-what should I be expected to pay?

I got a lot of value from your replies on finding sites (in specific niches) that sell banner advertising, can you tell me what I should be expected to pay for placing a banner on one of those sites? any benchmarks?

    there is no real answer to your question. It all depends on several factors.

    1. What the site owner charges

    2. Website traffic

    3. Demand (How many people are trying to purchase ad space on site)

    4. Supply (How much ad space does site owner have to sell)

    Banners are low paid as their results are rather ineffective these days (low conversion - people simply got used to seeing banners on website and most of them are blind to them).

    However, I agree with the preceding writer that there are several factors to consider.
