amazon affiliate locator for non wordpress website

hello i'm new to joining the forum but not at stalking it i've found this forum to be full of useful tips but i've got a question which i think can only be answered by joining. so here is my question/problem:

i've joined amzon uk associates program and i've built my own website using dreamweaver (i know 99% guys seem to say use wordpress) but i really wanted to code and custom design my site.

Question:

i want to get buyers from uk usa and international which requires the amazon locator plugin. is this plugin only for wordpress or is there a non-wordpress version.
surly its just a piece of code that could work on any website right?

    There are numerous options to geolocate your users. Two that I have experience with are Maxmind (see: https://www.maxmind.com/en/geoip2-se...-and-databases) and CloudFlare (see: https://www.cloudflare.com/) both of which have free and paid options. But those are just the ones I've used the most -- there are many, many others out there too (Google is your friend here!)

    In any event how you use these tools depends on you and your setup. Some have APIs, some have databases you can download, and CloudFlare just passes a variable to your web servers with each request. You'll have to figure out for yourself what's best for you.

      nice to know there are many options out there. i did try google but i didn't know what to type in.
