My blog got hacked and perhaps flagged by Google. Now what?

Someone put malware on my blog awhile back and I just paid to have someone clean it. However, there now appears a "security warning" whenever I visit the website -- you know, the dreaded red screen. I figure either my blog wasn't cleaned properly, or I've been "flagged" by Google -- or whoever puts up these dreaded red screens. (I cleaned my cache, and the error message still shows).

So... now what? Is there a way to get my website(s) off of this dreaded blacklist?

    Sucuri.net does blacklist removal.

While I've never had this problem, a lot of marketers vouch for Sucuri's services so you might want to check them out.

This will probably solve the problem.

After you verify the malware is removed, you can request google to check your website again. Add it to webmaster tools and you can request it there. If you have trouble, you can follow these directions: https://support.google.com/webmaster...r/168328?hl=en

You can do a free scan on the Sucuri website (removal isn't free but the scan is).
