Not Enough Offers in Other Niches

Hey Warriors,

So i've been bulding a new list in the self-help mindset niche, where my subscribers are interested in learning more about how to meditate, and enlighten themselves. The list is at 623 subs, and i've been building it mainly through a free single optin offer on Facebook.

I want to start promoting to this list, however there is a lack of offers. Sure I can go to Clickbank, and start there, but then where? This is a common theme for a recurring problem. Let me generalize the question more:

What does one do when there are no or very little offers to promote in their niche?

This isn't a big issue in the IM niche because there are new offers being launched literally ever other day, however, in every other niche, the release of new products/offers isn't as frequent.

    You should look at creating a product yourself that would be perfect for your list. Since you control a lot of things (the hook when they sign up) you probably have the best idea of what would sell well.

    Another option is to become a publisher for another content creator, but with only 600~ subs, it's not going to really be profitable for either one of you.

    Another option (there's so many haha) is to look at big names in self-help, such as Tony Robbins (first name that came to mind) and see if they have affiliate programs for some of their high-ticket sales.

    Another thing, which is very specific to self-help, is to look at what they want 'help' with. Is it meditating for health purposes (health offers), enlightenment for religious reasons... you get the picture right?

    Self-Help is a 'weird' niche, because their end-goal isn't usually to be 'enlightened'. Enlightened is such a vague term. They want to be enlightened so they can ___.

      Yeah it helped a bunch, thank you.

      I guess i'm just a bit agitated that there is surplus of IM products, but when it comes to other profitable niches (not just self-help), you have to get creative when trying to find things to promote because there as many products being released as frequently, and promoting old offers wouldn't be the best either.

        Hmm, try looking at what your highest EPC offers were and see if you can derive a common theme (if any) and promote different offers.

        Another spin that you can try is adding actual sponsored ads in your emails with a meditative spin on it.

        For example:

        This 47 year old man lost 74lbs solely by sheer meditation and will. He learned all that he knew from an 93 year old monk. Check out the story here
        *******

        Then it just goes to a weight loss offer. Obviously, this wouldn't work for a dedicated email, but it may work, since the only people who are going to look at it are people already interested in weight loss.

        The VSL or sales letter takes over after the click. Does that make sense as well?

        This strategy you can built out a lot more content with soft pitches in the emails.

        That's what I do and it works (in comparison to having separate sales/content emails) 734% better.

    Self help is one of the best niches for cross-niche-promotion. Everything from weightloss to how to pick up women can be promoted in this niche. You should start sending polls to your list to see what they need. Self Help is different for everyone.

    Sounds like you have another huge opportunity for yourself should you wish to take it on. Self Help Niche product creation. Like others have said above it is a large niche with many sub niches.

    Why not come up with a table of contents for the ebook you envision promoting and then have it ghostwritten for you?

    Ideally, when selecting a niche possible revenue streams should be a major consideration. Niche selection isn't just about keywords or doing something you have a passion for. A good niche has many potential products and services. Other things to consider are (legal) access to relevant media like images, videos, etc.

    The good news is, you seem to have found a way to connect with the market, which is often the hardest part.

    I suggest you sign up for all the other self help newsletters and see what they are promoting. Also, check out related blogs as well as magazines and take a look at the advertisements.

    Self help and personal development is huge in demand. Dozens of good products to promote! Somebody that I am an affiliate for and include in my sequence is products by Jim Rohn and Brian Tracy have some great stuff.

    Go out and learn who the top business owners in your area and you will find a lot of them allow you to partner up with them.

    One of the major TV networks used to run a promotion back when there was a pretty well defined summer "encore performance" (aka, reruns) season.

    If you haven't seen it, it's new to you.


    Just because a product has been around for awhile, you can't assume that everyone who might be interested in it has already seen it. Going back and reminding new people in the market about these classic products might be a gold mine.

      Great share! There are so many potential (new) customers out there... the real issue is not whether they are there or not (because they are out there), but how to reach as many of 'm as possible for as little money as possible.

      If you really can't find any good offers within your niche, next time I'd first research whether a certain niche has enough offers, before investing time and money in it. Though I'm sure that you'll find something within the self-help mindset niche... as a niche it's probably bigger than IM
