Who uses iContact? 2 Questions

I have a buyers lists I want to import somewhere instead of being on my server. iContact looks like a good solution because apparently they wont need to confirm their email addresses through a confirmation email like GetResponse and AWeber... Or am I wrong?

Also, how's the deliverability?

I have used iContact (formerly Intellicontact) for about three years with great success.
The deliverability rate is great. Yes, they do allow you to upload a list or have subscribers without double optins.
They will check your bounce rate and spam complaints.

I've also used IContact for a while now and deliverability has been fine. You can import names onto a list quickly. Double opt in is NOT required.

You better have a really good relationship with this list and communicate with them that you are transferring over to iContact.

If they are not accustom to receiving messages from you and just a few people hit the spam button, iContact will delete your account in a flash.

As long as they are legit customers, and you have a good relationship with them, you should be fine. I've heard some pretty lame stories with iContact (and experienced them myself), but they are just trying to protect the integrity of their service and continue to achieve good deliverability.

Yeah, that's what I'm concerned about. I'm sure they have people all the time who just load up a bunch of harvested emails... I guess we'll need to call them and have them check our stuff out or something and put a note on our account before loading up... because we're thinking about loading up another list of 9,000+ too...

That would totally suck to not be able to go back to GetResponse and AWeber if iContact were to shut us down for some bullcrap.

Don't close your aweber account until you are 100% sure that it's going to work out.

I'd wait until I'd emailed the list at least 5 times before getting rid of your original service.

I have used I contact for a while and like it better than Aweber.
