Hi Guys,

I'm planning on selling an ebook and I would like to know if there are any hot niches right now that you can recommend.

I personally just choose something I enjoy and make that my niche. It is much easier to make money when you enjoy what you are creating.

Otherwise the following niches are the best, but also the most competetive
    1. Make money online
    2. Diet/Exercises
    3. Dating/Relationships/Divorce
    4. Sports/Martial Arts

Let me narrow that down for you . . .

. . . any niche where people online with money are seeking to know something, learn how to do something, or solve an issue they are having in their life.

Check out Amazon.com for some ideas. They have a couple of books in a niche or two.

As Kurt suggests, a good research can start right on Amazon. Go through each non-fiction category, sub-category, sub-sub-category and so on. Some niches can go very narrow and still be very popular while others not so much.

You can check the best sellers in each of these divisions and see the reviews: what people like and dislike, what they'd like to read more about. Just by this alone you can understand if a niche is good or not for you.

Don't forget about schmaltzy romance novels featuring a plucky teenage girl and an angsty teenage vampire/werewolf/ghost/fairy, etc.

Try visiting JVZoo and Clickbank, then examine their catalog to see what is selling best.

I doubt you'll find any subjects on horse riding or bird watching selling too well on those platforms

Goodness I hate postings like this one.

You can search this forum directly for HUNDREDS of ideas.

You can even join the book writing sub forum for MORE ideas.

You can buy one of the many books on kindle writing that includes advice on ideas, formats and promo ideas.

You can also go with your passions and work with that.

Why place a posting to get free ideas? It's not fair to those of us who are hard working -- who spend days or months hunting for a good niche and for those of us who put blood sweat and tears into picking the right topic and creating an amazing book in the end.

PUT in some EFFORT. Don't just ask a question and expect some kind of road map for free. It's not fair to take advantage of nice people .. work hard and put in the effort yourself.

UGH.. I hate postings like this. It's like someone asking " How do I boil an egg " before they even look on google.

One thing you MUST remember ; writing a simple kindle book doesn't mean you are going to make instant money. It takes time to earn from it.

Building a series is a good way to make income ; a collection of 5 to 7 books in the same niche. Make sure the first book is free and the remaining ones cost money. They need a nice cover of course. My fav cover location is Goonwrite.com ; He's amazing.

Promotion is the important part of kindle success. It takes time to find a good way to promote.

If you want to write books for kindle ; develope a passion for something and get into that niche by building a series then promote like you are selling ice cream in the winter.

    Keep moving forward!
