Default What is that laptop desk that Allen raves about?

That about sums up my question... Allen has posted a laptop
desk that he swears by, and I just got a new couch that's
impossibly comfortable... so I need to pick one up

Anyone got a link?

Thanks,
Brian

I use a custom designed appliance for this that I call:

Floyd's right thigh. It is automatically upholstered in whatever color I am wearing that day and is so portable I am never without it!

Bah I'd be all over this if there was room for me to use a mouse. Even though I use a laptop for all my IM work I have to have a mouse hooked up because I suck at using the pad. Just way too time consuming... Nice find though

Here is the version I'd like to have:

AirDesk Laptop Stand Desk for Treadmill, Exercycle or other Excersize Equipment.

I've looked into different ways to use my computer while I'm on the treadmill, but most of them involve attaching something directly onto the treadmill, which means the computer would get a lot of vibration going on.

This version looks great because it is separate.

You can use a mouse. You have 3 glass tables and other arms you can add. The thing is infinitely adjustable.

You can set it up to eliminate ALL strain on your body. If you suffer from carpal tunnel or sciatica definitely give it a shot.

My girlfriend stole mine and put it into the Yoga/Exercise room so she could work on the laptop while riding the recumbant bike.

I think she's gonna do just alright with this whole IM thing.

I like the treadmill one. If you had Dragon Naturally Speaking you could grab a bunch of back issues of magazines in your niche from the library and read articles from them into your computer while you walk on the treadmill.

Then they would be ready for spinning after you shower up.

Hi,

Looking at that desk I know I could build myself one from scrap parts I have laying around the house, and a few more from the thrift store, for about $20, for personal use only of course.

The base would be a weight from a bar bell set. The main arm for the lap top tray would be from an old mic stand.

The main mast (vertical stainless steal pole) would either be a strong PVC pipe or stainless steal pipe of some sort.

The extra trays would be thick plexiglass, cut to the proper shape.

Off to the drawing board.

George Wright P.S. or maybe I could just not be so darn cheap and buy one.

Coming Soon. InformationMotherload

I have an Air Desk and I love it. I move it all over the house and out to the pool and have even broken it down completely and taken it on trips.
