Jared, I actually agree with you. Those are the resources that I used to get me past the basics, along with YouTube. I have also searched through and asked questions here on WF. I still don't necessarily understand everything that can be done via Wordpress.

The problem seems to lie with using purchased themes as well as the variety of plug ins that are available and not always understanding or being able to access training related to those themes/plugins.

I for one made use of a terrific theme obtained through the WarRoom, so the specific membership training is not available to me. Yet I still need answers. Some I have managed to work out by simply "playing around". I even managed to make a great big mess of it and then get myself out of it again...lol

I am pretty certain that there are others in the same boat as I am and who might enjoy brainstorming the answers.

Jared nailed that on the head. There are plenty of official and unofficial WP forums already.

I would like to see more people on this forum stop posting WP support questions in the main "Money Making" forum as WP support does not really fall into this category.

I love to help people and will answer as many WP questions as I can, but these questions for the most part need to go into another section of the forum.

As you say, you are fed up with all the WP questions. I noticed them. A lot of people have noticed them. It makes perfect sense to me to then set up a board specifically for WP Questions. Hence this post.

I am not fed up with them, in fact I love to help people with their WP questions. (It's one thing I am actually really good at - lol).

I was trying to say that I don't like seeing the questions in the main forum section. There are 2 other sections within the forum that are perfect places for WP support questions.

Lately there just seems to be a lot of product support type questions in the main forum (not just WP support).

Yes I agree, there are a lot of product support questions in the main forum, I guess it is because that is where most of the warriors hang out. I have in fact used the Programming Talk forum within WF to get my own question answered.

It just seemed to be that there are soooo many questions being asked (and answered) re Wordpress that it would be nice to get them all in one place. Hunting around both inside and outside WF can be very time consuming.
