Google Thinks My Site Is Spelt Wrong

Wondering if anyone else has come across this issue.

My website is called BrightDog Academy and I have pages, social media, and my YouTube channel all with that name.

When I do a search though on YouTube or Google Search, I always get "did you mean bright dog academy" which is not the name of my site, and when people click that it goes to different results that are not my site either.

Is there a way that I can let google know that the correct spelling of my site is one word?

Something I submit somehow?

Google isn't necessarily trying to showcase your site...

Google is just trying to match users with search phrases that make sense.

"Brightdog" is not a word in Google's eyes, so when someone types that in, Google might assume it's a typo and put a space between those words so it reads as "bright dog".

To "correct" that issue, enough users need to search "brightdog academy" and Google will recognize it as an actual term people are searching for.

    So, long story short...

Google isn't spelling your site name wrong.

Google is just giving users an alternative phrase that seems to make more sense.

Why does it matter? Google is offering options - which is what the search engine does.

    More important to YOU:

I searched for brightdog academy and your site was the first result....

YES - Google asked me "do you mean bright dog academy"...but when I clicked that link...YOUR site was still on top of the results.

Either way - you are on top....which is good!
