Wordpress Theme for Auto Repair Shop

I recently worked out a great barter arrangement with a local car repair shop. My responsibilities include setting up a Wordpress website for them.

I've scoured the web and haven't really found an auto shop that had an interesting WP theme. If you have a recommendation, or one to show me, I would be indebted to you. Doesn't matter if it's paid or free.

Here's what I've looked at so far:
Revolution
Remix
StudioPress
Flexiblity 2
Woo Themes (I like the free "Mainline" theme)

Chris I would think that the type of theme you pick would be based on the needs of what you are trying to build. IF you don't do this already try and freehand draw what you want it to look like or use Microsoft PowerPoint.. then from there.. take that picture to each theme and pick one out that works best for your design. Also think about the widgets you could use to fulfill your needs.

Here's a bit more information from the client. Below is a website that he partially liked.

Specifically, he liked how the "tabs" at the top blended together. He also liked the parchment background (which is easy enough to replicate). Are there any WP Themes with a unique approach to tabs?

I'm starting to sound like something of a stuck record (for those of you old enough to remember vinyl!) I use the Atahualpa theme. It's almost infinitely customisable and I would imagine you could produce something similar to the site your client likes.

I spent time yesterday with a fellow Warrior. We were designing her a site based on one she had found and liked. Can't show it to you, as it's not mine to show.

Chris, the tabs are done with CSS, I believe. There is a design credit at the bottom of the page you linked. Why not follow it and see if you can find the theme used?

Find a theme that will let you easily change the graphics, then mix in some photos of the shop. mechanics, etc. for a custom look.

If you aren't changing the basic structure, many themes can be customized by playing with the settings in the style sheet.

Depending on how proficient you are with design, there a multitude of options available to you.

For premium themes, personally I really like woothemes stuff. For novices, I would suggest the headway theme. You could also check out premiumwp.com to see a large variety of wordpress themes that are out there at a glance.

One of my absolute favorite places to look is the much lesser known themeforest.net marketplace. Inexpensive premium themes that look great out of the box.
