I click on post a new tread to write this question. Are threads and posting the samething? and if they're different. What are the differences and where do you post that's different then where I am typing in (Post New Tread) now? Thanks |

This is a post, that I'm writing via the Post Reply button, and the post is going to be part of this thread. Hope that makes sense! Lynn |

The first one who created a post creates a thread and my reply is part of the thread.

You posted a thread on a new topic. The responses you got were posts on your thread. If you are reading another thread (when you click on a topic, that's a thread), and you want to reply to a comment (post) on that thread, you would click the post reply button at the end of the thread. Or you could just type your reply at the bottom of the thread in the quick reply box. Or even click the quote button at the bottom of someones post, if you want to respond to a particular person. It gets less confusing once you get the hang of it. |
