How can I distinguish between online and offline shoppers?

Hi! We have a pizza store in France that is popular in our area, People are coming to our store to buy pizza, food etc as usual, we recently think of promoting our store online and start targeting more people in our area by advertise our store in social medias like Facebook etc and engage people on the area to come to the store, But the problem we have is how we can distinguish between people who's coming to the store through the online advertisement and people who's just coming to the store as any person who walks by store and come to it?

Please any idea can help, Thank you

You could have a coupon code that's only available online, or something like "say the secret passphrase to get a free drink with your pizza" that you only advertise online.

If you have social apps that let people "check in" on the app when they come to your store, you can give a discount for check-ins.

Just find some way like that to get your customers to want to tell you that they heard of you online.
