How to target audience for your website effectively apart from considering the demographics factor?

Of course one strategy used often is to figure out who your perfect customers might be. Draw up an image and description of what that person is like, what he/she wants, where they might be found online, and the keywords and phrases they would use as they search for solutions and desires in your niche online.

Then make a list of those keywords and run them through your keyword software to find relevant and additional keywords for the niche that aren't on your list. The idea is to have a large arsenal of the best keywords and phrases for your target audience.

Then you can use Search Suggestion software to find the most popular searches online for your keywords. Such software should be used with the understanding that it's not always accurate and really good keywords may be left out . . . but at least you will begin to see what the most popular searches are so you can begin to build your list of subscribers.

Yes, this is just one strategy - there are lots of others.

And before that I would create a perfect client description.

Forum marketing works. Google your niche + forum.

Check them out and choose a couple and start providing content. Content focused and appealing to your ideal customer or the kinds of people you would want on your list.

This content will attract your targeted group of people.

Channel the ones that like what you have to say into one place,,,,,newsletter, list, or a website in your case.

You have your target audience.
