Permission to show peoples videos

Hi I am writing a communication workshop for parents and i have their verbal permission from a group of parents to vidoe their kids with the intention to use the video in my paid course. What do i need them to sign? Thank you.

    This one could be pretty easily adapted Karen. I just did a quick 3 second search on google so you might be able to find something better if you do a more detailed search.

      This is a good starting point. When you modify it, specify each child's name (for example, if you are using siblings) and designate the signer as parent or legal guardian.

    Since children are involved, it might be good to enlist the help of a lawyer.

    I would also suggest speaking to a lawyer about this. It is better to be safe than sorry. While you may find something useful online it may not be complete enough or detailed enough for your purpose.

    I would insist on a signed legal release form.

    Videos have a way of becoming public access even when they start as a training tool in a paid course.

    The parent who verbally agrees to use as a teaching aid may have a different opinion if they find a video of their child displayed on other sites.
