Default Submitting Videos To Multiple Sites.

I have a colleague who runs some SWAT training camps and he want's to generate more traffic to his blog. Something he has which is fairly unusual is direct access to SWAT teams, he runs the training camps, and he has licence to use the videos of some of the training elements which seems quite cool, albeit a niche USP.

He puts is videos on Youtube which generate decent traffic, he had over 1000 views in a few hours yesterday but I am guessing there is more to video traffic than Youtube and was wondering if anybody could offer any experience on the subject.

Is the way forward video submission software or does this have inherent issues, manually posting them to dozens of sites.

What's the best approach for this and which sites offer the largest viewing figures etc?

use Tubemogul dot com

It takes about an hour to set up all of the logins but after that its a one click submission to tons of video sharing sites.

Well worth the time.

Simon, the tedious account creation process for TubeMogul can be made by some fellow warriors for as low as 10$, check WSO forum. Big Mike and his team at Incansoft are finishing a new VideoBot from what i recall, but i don't know when it's ready. Drop him a PM.

Hi Simon. Indeed, for the current needs of your friend, TubeMogul.com will suffice. In the event, however, that he will become what we can consider as a "power video uploader," TubeMogul's free account may be found wanting, as the service has a 150 video limit per month with each submission to a particular site being counted as one video.

In such a case, investing on a well regarded software or service - such as SENuke and TrafficGeyser - may prove as a better option.

Also worth looking at heyspread.com

You have to pay into your account and then it debits every time you post a video. Still only a few cents per video to all the sites that it supports.

Does Traffic - Geyser offer any additional functionality over TubeMogul apart from unlimited upload ability ?

You can created post casts and rss feeds.
