Affiliate Marketing Success Story's

I love reading success story's from other members. So with that said does anyone have any recent success story's in the affiliate marketing niche that they would like to share? Maybe a system that's been really working for them or maybe a coaching program that you have been involved in that is really working and getting result.

No success story here since I sell my own created products... but I have to ask... why do you have a BlogSpot/Blogger blog as your primary marketing vehicle?

    I guess I'll chime in.

I run a handful of blogs on various topics, and it's a lot of work to maintain them all, but they've been paying my bills for the past few years.

Income comes from a mixture of my own products (I wish I'd started making these earlier), affiliate sales (only when genuinely helpful), and Adsense revenue (a small portion, only on blogs that are hard to monetize).

I get traffic from content marketing. I try to make my posts as helpful as possible (I rarely publish anything less than 2,000-4,000 words) with lots of external citations and references. I decide topics from a combination of keyword research and market research (what my readers want to read).

How do I know what my readers want? It's pretty simple. The first email on my autoresponder is titled "Can you help me?" and I just ask what people want to learn more about. I then base my future posts on those answers. That way I know my users are always engaged.

I do a few things for links, like content promotion, limited guest posting, HARO responses, and a bit of broken link building.

All of this comes together into something that pays my bills at the end of the month.

Honestly, there's no real secret -- well, maybe one. I bust my ass working. I take some breaks to post on forums and read blogs, but most of my day is spent crunching out content, meeting blog owners, or building products.

Everything you need is out there for free. I never made money from any beginner-level course (although some really advanced ones on sales funnels, etc. CAN be useful).

Planning out my week helps a lot. Today I'm writing scripts to repurpose content for YouTube, yesterday was spent stalking journalists to build relationships, and tomorrow I'll be writing blog content all day.

I used a timer to stay on-task and track actual hours of productivity. I'm always trying to improve.

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.

I just do it with only 1 simple video on youtube about 3 years ago. Just uploaded it once and didn't do anything else ever after that. And I still make commission from this software affiliate program until today. Not much, but it still makes me profit every month. Nice money to buy some fun for my daughters.
