Default For simple affiliate marketing - almost better using ezines.com?

Hi I have a simple affiliate website but it is taking a while to get the increases in the Search engine rankings. I have noticed that alot of the keyword phrases that I am aiming for are very high up for ezine articles in my niche simply because they have so many domain backlinks already - all these people have to do is create a simple affiliate page review on ezines.com and so long as they havn't got ridiculously competitive keywords good page ranking and sales should surely follow? What does everyone think?

Maybe I would be better off just writing articles and putting them on ezines or other high PR websites rather than concentrating on my own site?

Google loves CONTENT.

So if you write good articles with great content and you link these to good keywords and post them on your site, google will start noticing and your rankings should improve. Keyword and article content must be related or you will be considered as someone who posts "spammy" articles.

These get "sandboxed" by google fast.

Another great way to rank a lot faster is to write a short but content rich article and post it to ezinarticles, make sure that article links to a good follow up article on your site.

After thah, promote your ezinearticles through bookmarking sites and web 2.0 sites or go blog commenting. You'll be amazed!

You can focus on your website and outsource your traffic and backlink to some service.
This way your website and traffic going good in the same way.
You can find many service in WSO section.
I would recommend FTS service by MustafaKamal. It's working for me.

You should write to EZA for traffic, but always concentrate on your site.

another important thing is that you should build your list.

All the best,

Franck

It will be good if you can create several articles related to you specific niche,
then post them in the major ezine and web 2.0. But make shure to create a link wheel with them... it is a powerful method to rank high.

Post new content in a regular basic... time to time...

I think you'll find this long and excellent thread really interesting and helpful.

I found a good way was to create several blog versions of my site and point the links on these blogs to my own site.

Also post articles to ezinearticles pointing to your blogs and to your main site.

Then everytime you write an article post it to a different one of your linking blogs or an ezine.

I found this method very effective.

No, it is the gradual (natural) building of content on your website COMBINED to articles on ezines linking back to content on your site that build up credibility and therefore Google love.

If you can't get your site to rank in the top 5 of Google search results for keywords related to your site content, forget about getting any visitors or traffic...and that is what it is all about.

No visitors = no traffic = opt-ins or no sales, which means you will have to buy traffic or start advertising, and that always has a price.
