Advertising A Traffic Exchange

Hi,

I am the owner of AquaHits Traffic Exchange and though the site has steadily grown since it opened on the 1st November 2008. I am constantly looking for new ways to get members, I currently advertise in safelists, other traffic exchanges, buy solo adverts from other exchanges and a few JV's with other owners. Just wondering if anyone knows any other good ideas to promote my site?

Any help would be appreciated,

    I have found the best method for getting traffic to these type of services is to offer a discount on paid services if they refer you. What i mean is advertise internally as well as externally, you will already have an active database of members who are interested in your service enough to join, so use the traffic they can provide by offering them a discount on products or services you offer if they refer x number of members.

    Or create an ebook about generating traffic and only give it away to those who join your network, then just advertise your ebook and watch the traffic flood in.

    Sorry but traffic exchanges are a completely different beast, just offering a free ebook to join won't bring in acceptable numbers.

    If you or anyone else here wants to know where to go for help from real Traffic exchange experts, just let me know. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to link to it here. It's free by the way.

    Basically, if you want to know how to run a traffic exchange the right way, you need to discover secrets from the people who do it right ... just like anything else I guess, haha.

        I am currently offering a FRESH, OUT OF THE BOX ad exchange. I have had great luck these last 5 days with using similar sites modelled similar to mine.

        Also I have a BIG special happening. I am thinking that this offer is what is bringing enormous results for what little advertising I did. I have had 5 members sign up the other day when I advertised rather heavily, compared to the last day.

        Today, I only advertised 5 text links and 4 HTML ads in several exchanges. All in all, of this very small selection of ad exchanges, I got 3 members over the course of the day. I just am not believing my luck with my own traffic exchange. I am in AWE! I truly am!

        Truth be told, I have advertised other things in these exchanges in the past, and NEVER got a "bite". Just. Never.

        The secret to getting really fast action is to actually OWN YOUR VERY OWN ad exchange. You can make good money with this when the ball starts to really get rolling.

        I got 10 members Over the course of 4 days already!

        Darnitall.... my poor little head is spinning about this......

          Can you be found in the search engines? What is the keyword?
          If you are not in the search engines you need to get in!
          All the other methodes are working but you need time to invest.
          Try to get on the first page for traffic exchanges.
          Build some backlinks with anchor text of your keyword.
