Hey guys, Forgive me if this is in the wrong section. I did a search for "excel" and there were a lot of threads in this section. Basically, when I used to click a url in excel it would automatically open in whatever my default browser was, and now it's no longer doing this. Instead I have to copy and paste the address to get to the url. I would be greatly appreciative if anyone could help me get it to do what it was initially doing again. I'm using Excel 2007 on Vista. Cheers! |

Thanks for that. I followed the instructions on that but it's still not working. I didn't copy and paste all these links either. I entered them manually. They are all appearing as hyperlinks yet clicking on them does nothing. Any other ideas? |

Do you get a change in your mouse pointer? did you check to see if the hyperlink is typed correctly? Instead of clicking try right clicking youll see edit HL Remove HL Open hyperlink check those Good Luck BTW you really should post this down in the support section |

Yes they are all typed correctly. I haven't edited them since they were working. Right clicking does bring up those options, however, clicking on "Open hyperlink" doesn't do anything either. So Excel is definitely acknowledging them as hyperlinks, just failing to open them. | |

Default browser is all in order. Hyperlinks are 100% typed correctly. As I said, it has been working fine up until today. I haven't altered the links in anyway. I simply opened the file today and the links wouldn't worked. I haven't made any changes to any part of my computer at all so I don't have any idea what's going on. |
