Want to improve traffic and ranking

I have created a new e-commerce website. I am new in this. We sell Stationery and books on our website. The maximum number of daily users on website are 30-40 and pages views are 100-150. The ranking of our website is 3,254,571. I do backlinks in different blogs, forums and where I find place to submit comment, but it doesn't show much effect.

I need help to increase the traffic and the ranking of my site.

    It's a new website so it's going to take some time to get rank. SEO is not an overnight tactic. Try PPC and social media.

      It is not a new domain, over one year has passed. That is why I need help.

        If it's been a year now and you've been backlinking for some time and yet results are not getting anywhere, then SEO is probably not helping. There's never any guaranteed with SEO anyway because so much is dependent on the search engine's updates.

        In terms of your eCommerce site, there has to be something unique about your business that can also fulfill a niche audience. There are already too many bookstores out there, most obvious is Amazon and BN.com.

        If you have a specialty niche, you can try Adwords PPC to narrow the target visitors.

        If you are selling physical books in a local country, say Ukraine, then perhaps target the local market there. It could take Amazon a week or two to ship a book to Ukraine, but if you're already there, you can offer the fastest shipment.

        I think you should hire a reliable resource to run your social media and PPC campaigns actively. It is not a big problem to get high traffic and good results on your website for a professional. 1 year is too much to improve traffic. Very important to use social networks as FB, Twitter, Insagram, Pinterest and others more popular sites! Also, very important to have a backlinks!     Go for paid advertising, it will help to drive targeted traffic
    to you site, which will increase conversion rates. I started seeing
    a difference on my site when I started using paid advertising instead
    of just trying to get free traffic.

    Have you tried making videos? Set up a YouTube channel and make some videos around a low competition keyword which can quickly rank on Google's first page. Drive traffic from your video to your website.

    SEO is a slow and long term process. You have to keep patience to see effective of SEO. If you want to get instant traffic, I suggest you to try PPC and Social Media. Social Media can help you to get targeted traffic. Facebook Ads is a good option of getting targeted traffic.

    There are 4 ways you can attract visitors:

    - SEO - this means having your page with Amazon links on the 1st page of Google for targeted keywords. 1st page of Bing or Yahoo search is not bad too for certain keywords

    - PPC or solo ads - Pay Per Click or your own ads on particular sites.

    - Viral content that gets redistributed fast (video, photos, text posts)

    - Email drop with reputable and tested lists That's it!

    Of course, this is all easier said than done. You don't need just any kind of traffic, you need people who want to buy. I will just say it's not always WHAT but many times it's HOW you do it. If you do it correctly there will be results.

      SEO is not game for short term unless you're smart enough. I suggest you to reinvest in Fb ads and other PPC. If you want to get traffic quickly.

    Try to use PTC traffic just to increase your rank. The traffic does not convert that much but it is very cheap and will help you increase your rank which will bring better traffic

    SEO will take ages to get you quality results.
    There are bigger whales in the market who can afford much more to pay for the targeted Tag words and phrases.
    So don't waste your time competing using SEO unless you have shit loads of Marketing budget.
    If you are running low on your marketing expenditure.
    i would suggest PPC, which could again be a bit expensive as per your business niche.
    The best, go to strategy would be email marketing.
    Select a good ESP, arrange Opt In email lists and start shooting out emails.
    Now i know people will say, do not spam or this will not work in the long run bla bla.
    But believe me.. for your business niche, this will work out as the per item cost would be lower comparatively.

    Let's try Instagram & Youtube for free traffic. And Facebook Ads for paid traffic. All of these traffic are effective now. Google searching for details.
