Which software types needed for a "full" sales-funnel ???

Hello Warriors,

I would definitely need some advice!

I am in the creation phase of my ebook, freebie and an upsell but now I have to get everything ready to market that stuff as well!

Here are my questions:

I wanted to focus on free-traffic first, thats why i planned to create a blog through WordPress and add the following pages/Pop-ups like squeeze-page / sales page / OTO /

Question 1: If you were a complete newbie like I am and have no expertise yet in doing these things do you think it makes sense in doing that on your own (by researching and purchasing the right WP-Plug-ins) or would you hire someone?

I know that the most important thing to "build my list"

Question 2: Now that I have a WP-powered blog - do I "just" have to get e.g. an aweber-account and link that with my WP-Blog to collect the emails?

Question 3: My sales-funnel is really small (freebie; 1 ebook for about 20 USD; 1 Upsell for another 20 USD and then I have one promising affiliate product I want to promote): is the software mentioned by me (WP; aWeber) everything I need to get started?

Do you know any kind of good tutorial which leads you through these steps?

I would really appreciate some advice!

Thank you and best from Germany,
Kay

I think it will be of great help to you.

      Thank you very much, Ken!
Do you think getting it done with aweber will look newbie as well?
Which popular services would you recommend from the WF and why?

      Best,

For me, I will purchase, the tools and learn how to set up myself. Inasmuch as it is good to outsource, I feel it is important that you also know how the entire system or process works.

Get your hands dirty, learn the ropes and have the basic knowledge of setting up a funnel and there tools out there that have simplified the entire process.

When you start making money, then you may then begin to consider expanding by outsourcing.

2 Incorporating a webform on your webpage may only collect emails, if there is traffic on your site first. Yes, it can be incorporated and what you will have is the basic webform to collect emails. To further expand on that, there are also other tools out there apart from your email marketing platform with which to collect emails. These are more stylish and dynamic.

    3. It is important that you know that a lot of people frown at too many upsells. Rather than bombarding your subscriber at once with all the upsells and affiliate product, you might want to consider building a relationship with your subscribers, give them value, gain their trust and promote. Offer value, then promote...

Hope you know you need to have a sales page for your own product.

The entire system is achievable with aweber but you need to know how to set up the funnel.

    Here are quick steps

After the visitor opt in to receive the freebie,

The visitor is redirected to the thank you page. The Thank you page must have been created and the url is inserted in the thank you page field for the signup form.

On the thank you page, after thanking them for subscribing, you tell them where to download the freebie they opted for. Here, what some marketers would do, is to have the links to other offers displayed on this page.

The ebook will be included in your autoresponder messages to be delivered immediately to the subscribers email.

Since they are on your list, emails promoting offers and other products can then be sent to them at intervals.

This whole process is long but just had to compress it into this while trying to make sense at thesame time.

    Hope this helps

Thank you mate for you extensive answer!!!

What other tools would you recommend that work in interplay with a blog?
      I am really curious!

One more question on the process and if it is going to be able via aweber:

Is this whole "transferation" to thank you page (where I want to place the first offer for my book) after opting-in for the freebie first and then being transfered to paypal where I want them to pay and place an upsell afterwards as well (maybe - I want to test conversion at least) all possible with aweber? Or do I need something else here?

      Thank you for getting back!

Honestly, it is achievable with aweber alone. You dont need any other tool(s). Yes other tools can do the job but they are pricey.

There are tutorials on aweber to guide you and even much more on youtube.

I said in the earlier post that you must have a sales page for your own product. The sales page talks about the product and urging the visitors to make a purchase, at the end or in between, you would have to integrate a buy now button which was created on Paypal. Such that when anyone clicks on the buy now button, they are immediately taken to your paypal page for payment and after payment, depending on the setting, they are redirected back to your upsell page. ( There are tutorials on Youtube that teaches this process)

        Hope this helps

It's an investment. Using it easily saves me $300 a month in frustration, trying to get 5-7 different pieces of software all communicating together. Then, when one updates, it breaks the entire system.

I chased my tail for a long time. Then just forked over the money to ClickFunnels. No looking back, now.

It just means you have to make 15 more sales a month of your front end offer to cover the cost of it.

One really important question on this one: I watched the whole 2hours of the clickfunnels webinar and it sounds amazing BUT my perception was that it is primarily to be used with paid traffic rather than to be combined with a blog (my first choice for getting free traffic in the first place)?

Do you have any experience here and can advise? That would be so helpful!
(In their tutorials they describe how to integrate WP, but then they say, that combining that with a sales / thank you / OTO page is not possible?!)

      Two more questions on clickfunnels:

      1. Do I "own" my list there? Means, if I choose to cancel my subscription, can i take my emails with me?

      2. When recommending clickfunnel - would you also recommend this system for such a "small first thing" as mine (ebook for about 20-27 USD; 1 Upsell for about 20 USD and likely only one affiliate product?!)

Thank you for getting back, Synnuh! I am really stuck here and finding valuable information for making this important decision is so helpful!!!

You can use a blog and send the same traffic to it. There's a few ways to do it:

        https://support.clickfunnels.com/sup...-the-same-time

You just can't host the sales / thank you / OTO pages on your own site.

You can take your emails with you, like any other provider.

I recommend it to all beginners now.

Synnuh! You are right!!! (It does not matter if you dont have the blog being directly linked to OTO, Sales Page, etc - apart from the squeeze page or pop-up - that should be able to be integrated into the WP-Blog, shouldnt it? (I mean I believe the squeeze page is one valuable module of clickfunnel set, you want to be able to use if you pay for it, dont you think?)

But additionally to clickfunnel subscription you would also you the actionetics-communication system-suite from them?! (instead of aweber)

So its 293 USD per month - dont you think thats quite if you compare it with >50 USD for aweber instead? Or do you see so much more value coming from clickfunnel? (Pls. consider I just start my first site and my ebook is about 20 USD and OTO and Affiliate approx. as well...On the other hand, benchmark-site (and there is not so much competition, gets >800K visitors per month according to www.similiarweb.com) If so, what are your specific points? I would really get curious!!!

I would look at YT for some tuts and the best way to get good at something is do your self
its hard to start with but if you get some tuts and download them and follow at the same time

This way you learn as you go and once you get good at it you can then make a product and sell that so there is a bonus for learning

If you pay someone you will not learn simple

This is the setup i used before not sure if its change3d much

    1. prospect looks at sales page
    2. prospect likes product and buys
    3. clicks the buy button goes to paypal / ejunkie
    4. fills in info to purchase product
    5. paypal redirects prospect to download page/OTO
    6. prospect sees download link but also sees new bonus or secret bonus at no cost ( can have aweber form on download page )
    7. downloads both and happy with purchase
    8. now have customer who will purchase from you in future if you dont spam them
Very easy and simple / ejunkie is good for eBooks as they email a link that will expire in 24-48 hours cost was $5 a month need to check this may have gone up

REALLY COOL! I love that idea of giving something for free at the end!
      THANK YOU!!!!

BTW: What is the benefit of the expiring link I wonder? If the customer has purchased he should be able to downoad even after several days, dont you think?!
