Default Adding comments feature to page..

I've tried shoutbox plugins and everything, none are simple enough to allow comments from users/guests on a standard web page.

See, I'm all for visitor interaction and what better to have live testimonials from visitors on the page?

How can I add the option for people to comment on the page without them having to sign up or go to a separate blog URL?

I've tried Wordpress and even with all it's mods I still can't get it military optimized for the search engines.

Louis

I can't recommend them as I've never used the service, but I heard about this company: JS-Kit: Comments, reviews, ratings, scores, polls, Navigator and more... who apparently provide interactive applications for static sites.

Might be worth checking out.

You might want to look at EZ Comment Manager (EZ Comment Manager | Centralize and automate the tedious process of collecting and displaying visitor comments on all your web pages...)

Much success.

Heya Louis

I think Frank and Sid have hit the nail already, man. When I saw the thread title, I immediately thought of JS-Kit and EZCommentManager. Both are plug'n'play stuff. Really easy to install and for your readers to use. Both highly recommended.

Unless there's some special, fancy thing you'd like to do, don't waste any more of your time searching. I spent a bucket load of time sifting through different solutions some time back and those are the two that I ended up settling on.

Best of luck with it!

Well JS-Kit is perfect with the price of FREE but The moderating side is a bit flimsy relying on cookies to know if you're the admin or being the first to subscribe gives you admin status.

I've decided to go with an Ebay BANS, hopefully I can ad a commenting feature to it?
