The next step in marketing - Virtual Reality?

IT's considered to be the ultimate storytelling tool in marketing, did you know that?

I came across:

Google Cardboard!

You know, one of the schools my kid applied to...

Said University sent a Google Cardboard thingee complete with the VR content!

Amazing.

There's even VR organizations like

VR/AR Association - The VRARA

IVRPA :: International Virtual Reality Photography Association

Neat stuff! Will you use it, do you think?

I came out of warrior forum "retirement" to post a reply here.

I went to the IVRPA annual conference in Vegas two years ago and it was a blast.

I've been a Google Street View Trusted photographer for about 3 years and it's a nice easy way to learn how to start creating virtual tours and now the work we do is Google cardboard compatible too which is pretty neat.

My portfolio (partial portfolio - I've shot way more businesses than I have put on my site) is here for any local marketers who may have a client they want to chat about this service for:

I just had a vision of headsets and mind control.

Hypnotised to buy certain products or maybe even become Government Assasins!

Marketing has seen various phases. At first it on papers. Then comes the Internet. And now virtual reality is coming up to change the whole scenario of how marketing is being done.

Now you have me wondering what would be the very first example of marketing known to man.

  • I think VR is definitely the next step in marketing. I'm excited to see how people are going to use this in creative ways.
