What is your opinion, does traffic from traffic exchange sites (such as Traffic Swarm) actually help search engine ranking or hurt because of the low quality of the traffic.

That said though, Traffic Swarm does seem to be about the highest ranked site of its kind. But I still can't help but wonder how the search engines feel about it.

Anyone care to weigh in?

If they do like them now, over time I think they will frown upon on it.

I used to use traffic exchanges but people were only clicking to get credits. I recommend you pass on the traffic exchanges. There are better ways to get targeted traffic to your site.

I would suggest you take a look into your google analytics data. See your traffic sources and analyze them in terms of Bounce Rate.

If you find your traffic is bouncing heavily (60%+) than Google can punish you by cutting your SERPs.

If your visitors stay on the site and actually click through your site, than this is a good sign for Google and your SERPS.

But the bottom line is: don´t buy, ... traffic for SERP sake, do not do it if it does not convert into sales,...!

I think this is a very good idea here as many people who are marketers do not take a look at their stats enough and don't track their adds...

If they did track the ads that they put out there, they would spend more time focusing on the traffic methods that work, and not on those that don't.

but the real answer to that is what is the price of a customer? Can you put a price on a prospect, what is the life value of a prospect whether you get it from google adwords, or traffic swarm?

Personally I don't think they are that good and certainly not really targeted traffic, like someone said above people click on links just to get more credits, but they aren't really interested in what they are clicking on.

As a seller with a product on Clickbank, it doesn't help with stats when you have someone putting your product on a traffic exchange program. My earning per click stat is quite low and I believe it is one person who has my product on a traffic exchange and sends a lot of non-targeted traffic, so lots of clicks but no sales. The stats for other affiliates is much better but it's just one affiliate that puts my stats way out of whack!

I have also bad experiences of traffic exchanges.Everyone who joins is there to get traffic to their own sites, no one is coming to a TE to buy anything. There are only sellers around...

Why not build a blog and get the traffic (highly targeted) from Google and other search engines automatically over time.

Well on the other hand traffic swarm does have an option where people can use it as their start up page from what I remember. It's not as highly advertised as it used to be from when it once came out, but nevertheless, there are still members who are a part of their network who are interested in making money online.

Traffic Swarm is good as people read the ads which then later generates yourself into a prospect, now it's not their fault if your website doesn't convert them into a buyer or an opt in...

So traffic swarm is a good product but it all depends on what type of site you have and if its target market is traffic swarm...

In my opinion a lot of people who are still using traffic swarm are maybe people who are just getting started to market online, not all of the members, but a nice portion of the members

So if your market is to target people who are just getting started it may be a viable option for you imo...
