HI,
I've started affiliate marketing 2 months ago.I tried networks like clickbank and CPA networks like adscendmedia,I haven't made any money with clickbank and only made a few bucks with adscendmedia.

I have no idea what the problem is.I generate traffic through everything and super targeted(youtube videos, facebook, twitter, banner etc) but i don't get any sales.

I have no idea what to do now.last month i got more than 6k clicks on my affiliate links but i got NO SALES.

I'm thinking maybe i should try a network that pays per visitors that way at least i make money.do you know any pey per visitor or pay per click affiliate network?

and I wanted to quit my day job to earn money throgh affiliate marketing but I really suck at it apparently. Do you have any suggestion?do you recommend anything?
look forward to your help.

Don't give up the day job for starters , ask yourself why you want to give it up and remember it takes at least 12 months to start making a good living from the internet

If you are no good at one thing learn another , this business is a ******* and brutal and you have want to get burnt to learn and put in 8-12hours a day to make anything

Others will sugar coat things I wont a lot don't make it

The good news is you're getting traffic and clicks. I'm inclined to think that your traffic isn't well targeted, but getting clicks seems to indicate the opposite. It may be the offers just aren't any good.

At this point in time, I'd suggest sending the traffic to an email squeeze page to build a list or two, instead of directly to affiliate/CPA offers.

Segment your leads. For example, if your traffic is related to body building, on your squeeze page have two, and only two, options:

Want to gain weight? Enter your email address here.

Want to lost weight? Enter your email address here.

Of course, modify this type of segmenting for your own niche market. You'll have two email lists with the ability to better target each segment with content and offers. Also, you can use some of the same content and offers for both segments.

The problem is that you are making a common mistake. You are sending your traffic to the offers instead of to a squeeze page.

It's a know fact that you have little to no chance of making a sale to cold traffic (traffic who does not know who you are).

Your chances of making a sale dramatically increase when you promote your offers to me people who know and trust you.

The best way to do this is by building an email list and developing a relationship with your subscribers before trying to sell them anything.

Honestly, It's hard for anyone to really give good advice without knowing what the offer is and what type of traffic you are sending to that offer. We could talk for days about "theories" but it all comes down to 1. Your Offer 2. Targeted Traffic 3. Your Landing Page. Right now, you're the only one that knows if all three of these crucial elements are properly aligned. Good Luck!

You're getting social media traffic which isn't exactly the same thing as Google Adwords PPC traffic.

When someone types in "Buy Canon EXL Super Zoom Camcorder" in Google Search, that person has an apparent interest in buying a camcorder.

Social media is for hanging out. People there are not exactly in the buying mood. This doesn't mean social media does not convert, just understand the difference between a search engine and a social network.

The process is simple and as not been changed for years:

    - Find a hungry market
    - Build a squeeze page and capture leads
    - Followup with them via email (2 values email:1 promotion ratio)

    Cheers,

Probably you're promoting wrong affiliate program . You should use google analytic to see where the 6K clicks come from.

I have been promoting CPA offers for 16+ years.

I heavily promote PPL (pay per lead) offers (lead generation) because there is no credit card required in order to complete an offer. All a user has to do is fill out a form to get paid. So conversion rates are typically much higher than those that require a purchase.

I favor offers that have a get, make or save money angle to them, as they have overall performed the best for me and tend to have the greatest mass appeal (be of interest to a large audience). So the potential exists to produce high volume.

In addition, I also promote free sign-ups (dating offers for examples) and free trials (electronic cigs, weight loss are a couple that have worked well). With a free trial the user usually has to pay S&H, so it's not a completely free offer, but often they are getting a product that would otherwise cost upwards of $60 upfront and they just pay like $4.99 for shipping, which they would of had to anyway.

I also promote a limited number of offers that are 100% purchases. In this case, it all goes back to the offer having a decent amount of mass appeal for me to even consider it or it solves a house is on fire type problem. In both cases, I don't promote anything that someone can get locally or even something remotely similar. Unless "maybe" there is some huge saving factor to it. I remember years ago I was promoting the Topsy Turvy Upside-Down Tomato Planter, where the unit hung and they grew down and when it first came out, it was huge. Then it showed up in Walmart and my sales tanked and it was all over. But I don't do too much in products, I like free offers.

Most of the offers I promote pay $20-$60, some more and some less. But it's not always about the payout. I could have an offer that pays $9 and if it converts substantially higher than a $20 offer, it could make close to the same ROI as the $20 offer. Where an offer that pays $90 and converts poorly, may not even be worth running. It's all about testing.

    Anyway, something to think about.

Dont quit your job before getting consistent success in internet marketing. It is very hard to find a successful campaign in CPA. Instead I would suggest Amazon Kindle Publishing to start off if you are good at writing books ( or outsource). • There are definitely a lot of things you can look at on why you're not getting any sales. The first thing I will check is the traffic- how quality my traffic is by looking at my Google Analytics data. From there you can analyze where your visitors are coming from, which are your kw referrals, etc. These things definitely provide you with a greater insight on why you are not getting any sales. Secondly, I will also check y website's layout and content and see which ones need changing. Sometimes, improving your site's layout and content can make a huge difference. Try to do split testing to your landing page and see which page converts more.

You definitely are not sending people to a high converting offer. Maybe it could be more professional we can only guess without actually seeing it.

But you need to find people in that exact niche that are doing quite well and take notes from those real case people you find in your niche that are already successful.

    Hello,

Well I have spoken about this before, so read my past post if you can, but here is more for you,
Affiliate marketing is not something you can learn in 60 days and start making money,

So there is two types of setup for affiliate marketing
IM blog for pros that teach IM marketing,
Single niche site, all about one product on one site

Custom design with all the right tools in place,
    Number one, membership system
    Custom landing pages
    List building
    Social marketing package

So the only Affiliate sites that make real money are pros, and have been doing this a long time,
Please post on reply your experience, and your site if you can.so the pros here can tell you what to change.

Average time for new affiliate site to do well, if it is built by a pro, is one year.

    Ok hope this helps.

Need to know more about your general Funnel. What kind of Follow Ups do you have etc... It sounds like you are doing direct linking to a offer.

    HUGE mistake !!.

You will NEVER get anywhere doing this.
At some time we ALL thought in the beginning this was the easiest and quickest way to make money. It's is neither. You may get a few Sales here or there but your ROI will be miserable.

Develop of subscription of people that you can market to over and over. Engage them, sell to them

You didn't mention whether you were using a landing page or direct linking.

Out of the 6k clicks you had to CB, how many order form impressions did you get? That will give you an idea how close any of the visitors were to buying.

What type of YouTube videos did you create to promote products?
Were you using free traffic or paid traffic on FB and Twitter?

Thanks every body, you are amazing.I read all the posts and i should say you are right My main mistake was that I didn't make a squeeze page and i sent my traffic straight to the product.
I like affiliate marketing and i wanna work on it more.however it's still too soon to quite my job. like some of you said I should be persistent and work more strategically.
and about my product I should go after the products that people search for and the product I chose wasn't that kind of product.oh by the way i didn't use PPC I just used banner and email and videos and stuff like that and like I said i didn't capture any email so Now i'm going to stop the campaign and create a website and then start advertising again and for another product.
you're right if i capture emails I can easily(well not that easy though ) ) sell something by sending a few emails to them.
thanks for all the Amazing posts. All of them are helpful and I am really grateful.
