Need help setting up affiliate script, please advise help!

Hi!

Need help guys.........

I offer design and development services. I wish to set up an affiliate program, where people can register as an affiliate and promote my services & earn a commision if they help make a sale!
BUT, most sales are custom orders and the cost of each project varies a lot. I plan on paying a fixed percentage of the total sale made as an affiliate commission.

In this case what kind of an affiliate program would suit me the best? I realize I can't have a fixed commision for every buyer that is sent to my site by an affiliate as every visitor's order might be priced differently,so each and every commission amount will differ.

My order process is simple:

1) Visitor fills an Order Form/Requests a Quote.

2) I send him a quote via email along with pricing details and a link to Paypal or my bank details.

3) Client makes payment & Order is processed.

Now, how can I make sure that the affiliate who referred this client is paid his commission automatically?

Is there a ready made solution for this? Can I custom make a script? If yes can you guys please tell me what I need, maybe who should I go to, and how much it would cost me?

I am no pro but i would approach an established affiliate network, and discuss with these guys in what will be required to place your product.

Yes there will be some fee's as everybody wants some apple pie but once accepted and set up you have a third party who do this work for a living looking after that side of your business, leaving you to focus on your work, but more importantly your product will be turned onto possibly thousands of affiliates at one time which unless you have the time or skills id better than you trying to find your own affiliates, may be wrong ?

Well I have tried that in the past with poor to no luck.

I feel I'll need a custom built script, but not sure....
