Monetising my website

So, this is my first post on The Warrior Forum but I've been reading through for a little while.

I have started a niche blog that we used to run as a free magazine, paid for by advertising. I want to set up adverts on the site. We will be selling merchandise and stuff but my goal is to sell direct banner ad's, maybe some google adsense on there and try to convince some companies to explore affiliate marketing options. They don't currently have these systems in place.

What I'm looking for is to outsource the bulk of this work abroad but don't really know how to go about it. We just hired someone for SEO on Freelancer, but this job description is a bit more loose and I can't find anyone suitable.

I guess it would involve copywriting, wordpress knowledge, sales, marketing and advertising experience.

Any advice on how to approach this and find someone up to the job would be great.

  • Copywriting, sales and marketing are three distinct areas and you should look for different people for each. I would advise Upwork for quality work. But definitely not Fiverr.

I'm looking to get someone to manage it also, someone who has experience knowing where to put adverts on a page for optimum click rates, how to make sure it works responsively etc. An expert in the field of running a niche blog and can optimise the whole thing.

Instead of searching the freelancer sites fr suitable candidates, you should simply post your job and description on the freelancer sites and let the freelancers find you.

You could try hiring a freelancer on upwork.com There are some good ones on that site. Just my opinion but it may be worth checking them out

I did post a job and had people just thinking I was advertising for SEO and applying terribly. I will try Upwork, thank you.

You go try Upwork for now, but this job seems to be complicated a bit, you need to make sure to hire someone who is knowledgeable in all the areas of Advertizing that you mentioned.

There are very diverse and ambidextrous people on this forum that you can hire. Check out the classified ad section of this forum, Warriors for Hire, or freelancer.com to see who best fits your criteria.
