Can I Make 5-6 Figures Even As A Shy Introvert Who Sucks In Networking And Face-To-Face Presenting?

That is the question I have been asking myself after watching all the speakers on stage in live seminar networking events or Youtube video replays.

Of marketers like Anik Singal, Jeff Johnson, Yanik Silver and Eben Pagan I got to watch them on stage as their subscribers.

But suppose if I am a soft-spoken, quiet, shy and complete introvert who sucks in networking with people and face-to-face / video presentations?

Who just want to focus on affiliate marketing on digital, physical and CPA offers.

Or MUST I be like them to earn 5-6 figures?

Like to hear from you guys.

No you don't have to bean extrovert to make money online. That's actually the beauty of internet marketing.

There are plenty of people making 6 figures online that don't have the guru title and don't brand there own name.

They just go about the business of making money.

As your business grows you can hire people to be your spokesman, create your videos, etc...

Don't let the fact that you are an introvert, stop you.

    It has not stopped me!

No. You don't have to be like them at all. Just be diligent to gain more converting targeted traffic to your offer. That's it.

No, you don't have to be extrovert to make 6 figures, this is the beauty of working from home, of course it doesn't hurt f you learn some Social skills and Body language tricks...

I'm not sure if you know this, but,... Introversion is not normal, a lot of psychologists have stated that being introvert is not psychologically stable and healthy.

As matter of fact, people don't care if you're introvert or extrovert, it doesn't matter much in social situations... I'm sure you're not the type of person who takes out his phone when he's standing alone in public. If you're not that person, then you are far from being introvert.

It is necessary to have the personality of a marketing guru... only if you want to be a marketing guru! But you do not need to be a guru to make money online.

Many people who have an introverted personality succeed online.

I have seen several of the "big namers" in person and trust me they are as normal as you and me.

Many would love to share a beer with you after the presentation.

You are right some people like Jeff Johnson are smooth as silk on video and he damn near looks like a super model but these guys and gals are pretty much your next door neighbor.

There is something about discussing marketing to marketers that is very comfortable and feels like home.

I've made plenty of dough online and never had to do a ton of face time.

For my local clients, I do one-on-one (I'm not shy), but it is quite easy to build a revenue platform that doesn't require interaction. One of my most successful businesses actually required, get this, no face time and no customer service! None, nada, zero. Just built websites and ranked them.

    The short answer? HELL YEAH

I'm an introvert and I hate crowds.

That's why I took to IM and outsourcing like a fish to water.

    Thanks for your advice, guys.

I did try traditional sales and marketing in insurance and real estate before I do IM full time in 2010.

Even MLM and timeshare and credit cards telemarketing.

That was from 1999 to 2009.

But for some reason, they don't work for me at all.

I do make $. But enough to pay my bills and barely enough for my daily expenses.

Here is the thing, guys you might like to know.

When it comes to networking face-to-face, everyone can greet and talk.

No problem. Very easy to do.

But when it comes to listening, understanding and connecting to people from THEIR perspective rather than what you think is best for them, now that is something NOT everyone can do.

And because that is something not everyone can do, success tends to favour those who can do.

    See what i mean?

yep , so true Amuro !! And a great point. I have said this many times ......

having Empathy is something that most people just not have an abundance of in our Society. Whether that is DNA or whether it is a choice is debatable.

But to actually visualize and "feel" what it would be like to be in someone else's shoes ( whether you can relate or not) and then act accordingly is an important Skill most do not have

You're EXACTLY right in many cases this is what separates the Successful people from the not so Successful people. The funny thing is that if the 'not so Successful' people would realize this they would be much more abundantly Successful

Move out of Singapore if all your work is internet related. I guess living there costs a fortune and in many other countries you could live like a king if you can get the same income. I know this is not an answer you were expecting but hey, any advice is better then no advice

You can succeed without meeting face to face. Build a quality website that makes your visitors come back, build a list and profit.

One of the main reasons I got into internet marketing was because I was pretty introverted. And I started down the same path you are thinking about now. And guess what? It worked out perfectly.

My main business is promoting affiliate products and I've been doing that for over 7 years and I've consistently made over mid six figures for the past 5 years. The best part about it? I never once had to deal with a customer or network with anyone.

That doesn't mean you shouldn't be a total introvert! It takes time to feel comfortable about what you do and talking to people about it, but once you start seeing positive results from your work you begin to gain confidence and naturally you will want to reach out and network with similar minded people and I can tell you now that the vast majority of the people in this business started out just like you and me.

My advice to you is stay on track with the CPA stuff, but start networking with people and join a skype group / facebook group now. You'll learn so much from other people and you will feel a lot better knowing there are other people out there like us to learn and grow with. This business can be pretty isolated so don't become a total hermit. So join a good group early on and start making friends who can help you succeed.

You don't have to change. There are people who make ALL of their money online through Fiverr. And they do well. No speaking necessary. You're behind a computer screen. You don't have to show your face if you don't want to.

Yes you can earn 5 figures as an introvert and being shy. I fit that bill when I started and sometimes I wondered the same thing as you but that is the beauty of Internet Marketing and working from home you can actually do all your communicating through email as say opposed to skype video. In fact I'm only just thinking about adding skype to my arsenal as I know I should but even skype doesn't have to be video it can just be messaging back and forth.

If you want to work on being an extrovert and be able to handle large crowds as a speaker or from one on one networking there are a ton of courses online and especially on Udemy that can help you in this area. Go check them out as they can help greatly.

I've made high 5 figures with flipping sites and product creation and some CPA and affiliate marketing and I only communicated with others through Private Messaging and Email only.

    Thanks for your feedback, guys.

Just to reveal more about myself.

I may be quiet and shy on appearance but I am very good in observing things around me and creative in creating website headers, banners and graphics.

Using just MS Word, Galdwin Printscreen and Paint Editor.

The reason why I asked about 5-6 figures is because I already made 3-4 figures from 6 years of internet marketing and am curious to know how to move to the next level.

Yet I am still struggling because of high costs of living. Housing, bills you know the drill if you lived and worked on your own entirely.

Right now as I am posting in my local Starbucks cafe, there are at least 40 people, 5 waiters and 6 CCTV cameras monitoring our movements.

You can definitely scale up to 5 - 6 figures. The hardest part has already be done. Earning your first $$$ online.

Now with your skills, you can offer your services online. Or even create a course on how to create simple banners, headers, and graphics, and sell it on your own website.

The most important thing is that you never cease an opportunity to promote your website or business. If you spend more time promoting an offer, you are bound to see results. It's important to focus on one business model at a time, so that you are not leaving things unfinished and in turn losing money.
