Shall we sell our own Private label products OR existing one on amazon?

There are many people who are ordering prodcuts from alibaba wholesale and sell at amazon.
What should we do to sell on amazon?
I mean sell products with our own private label, branding etc. OR find some existing product and see if that is available on alibaba and order to sell through amazon fba?

    Create your own brand.

    Generally, reselling wholesale products becomes a "fight to the bottom" in which suppliers constantly try to undercut each other to acquire market share.

    Building your own brand gives you much more control of your business and your pricing.

    Before jumping in feet first and creating your own brand, I would use Alibaba as a way to beta test your market.

    You can find out what's selling and what's not selling, then you can go off and create your own brand for the more profitable products.

    You can benefit from both. When your brand is getting lots of following, even stuff that's not yours can sell as long as it appears to come from your store.

    Yes - you may want to consider doing both. Building you own brand may take some time before consumers know of your product line. The advantage of a well known products that customers may be looking to buy it on a regular basis. But sourcing and competition my be tough.


    As for Allibaba sourcing you may want to search for posts by ImportExport to learn more about that issue.
