which stated that 60% of customers abandon baskets due to slow delivery.

Not only that, but AdBlock Plus now has 100 million users....

Clothing sales are up in April....that's when people buy spring and summer clothing. I expect clothing is also up in August - back to school and winter. We often see those "stats" listed for housing, too, when no one mentions the "seasonal" nature of housing sales in many areas of the country.

The "free shipping" is spot on though I think using free shipping at a certain price point is useful for merchants. Yesterday I doubled an order of pet supplies online - because adding $30 more "stuff" to the order saved $8+ in shipping costs. I doubt I'm the only person who does that and wonder why it wasn't mentioned.

Out of 1,000 consumers surveyed, 67% said the biggest reason for feeling detached from a brand would be concerns over the safety of customer data.
I don't quite believe that. I think brand loyalty is down because it's easy now to compare brands, claims, guarantees and prices online. I think the "data privacy" reason is a fashionable excuse people will agree with today. It's often part of the question asked and skews the answers.

I think it's a fairly safe prediction that ad blocker use will continue to increase.
