Hi folks,

Can someone tell me what the benefits are of joining the war room. It seems much less active than the other areas of the forum. Is this a MUST for budding online marketers?

Thanks in advance...

Is it a MUST? If you plan on learning a lot, then yes it IS a MUST. You'll have access to knowledge not available in the rest of the forum. That's about as simple an explanation as you'll get.

      That's total nonsense.
It's just a lot of self promotion
      that's been bumped forever.

I don't agree - and I don't think it's a good investment for a new marketer. The War Room has been discussed in many threads - you can find them using the search.

If you have the money and won't miss the funds - there are some benefits such as more PM space and some freebies. If you can use the money for something else, don't join at this time.

    Just my opinion.

If it was still $20.00 for lifetime access I would say Yes, but as it is, it is just a wasteland of fogotten WSO's.

    Hi guys,

Yeah this is what I suspected. I really wouldn't miss the funds at all, it's really not a lot of money but if there's no serious benefits on offer then there's not too much point. Maybe after I've hung out in the forum a little longer curiosity will get the better of me and I'll subscribe.

    Thanks for the info.

If you want free access to a lot of course that you would have to pay for otherwise, then it's a good investment. Besides people giving away there paid products for free, there's nothing else going on in there.

However...You do get to get in front of people who are proven buyers. So if you do connect with members of the War Room, then you know that you are dealing with people who are not afraid to invest in their own future.

Thankfully for me...I got in when the price was a lot cheaper.

It's not a MUST, but it would be good to join. What's outdated to 1 person may not be outdated to you... especially if you're selling in a small profitable niche that no person would ever think of selling in.

To me, threads posted in 2012 and 2013 - and a year ago - are outdated. More than half the top threads on the first page of the War Room carry those dates.

There are some gems there but you have to dig for them and know what is (and isn't) useful/relevant. Downloading a bunch of freebies makes you feel like you are doing something - but often doesn't work out that way.

    Use your own judgment.

I would specifically advise anyone new to avoid it. You don't know enough yet to recognize when you are being scammed. The war room in its current state is full of everything that is not supposed to be allowed there. Almost everything there now that is not years old is a mixture of affiliate links, opt-ins, terrible advice, and just outright scams.

For $97 a month you can buy a lot of traffic to your sites. You will find said traffic will increase your bottom line many times over what a WR membership will. Many, many times over.

IMO it's nothing more than a time draining distraction.
