Default Best Place to find Virtual Assistants / Workers?

I'm interested in seeing where everyone gets their virtual assistants and workers from.

Forums? A specfic company? Sites like GetaFreelancer? Some place I don't know about?

Thanks and feel free to recommend specifics!

I wanted to hire someone local (Knoxville area) so I could have them come to my office from time to time and was amazed at the response I got from quality candidates on Craigslist.org.

I would assume that in this economy, you'll find a lot of people willing to work for you for a pretty low rate.

If you can outsource the stuff, I can imagine that your costs would go down even more.

I do remember seeing an ad by a Singapore based company that made their staff available to you for $300/month/staff...can't remember the name, but I'll PM you once I do find it.

Another service I know of is Offshoring.com. Never used them personally but I trust the company/guy behind the whole operation.

Thanks to all for the responses so far, still interested in hearing from more of you.

@kevin-virtualprofitcenter I love Craigslist, myself, but with my budget I'm looking for a cheaper solution (outsource).

@sashas That PM would be great.

@Justin Mandel PM is coming your way!

$300/mo VA can do only no brainer works i.e. data entry. I have one VA available for that need. PM me if interested.

This forum has wonderful VA's! Tawnya Sutherland runs it. Go to the top and click on
"For VA Clients" and send out an RFP.

Well, that was helpful, thanks! I was looking for somewhere to register my services other than odesk, this looks like an excellent place to start

Hi Katie,

I was there at the beginning of this forum being built..in like 2002, I believe. It now has 12,000 active members! There is no better one stop forum for a VA than this one!

I have helped people with VA for the same amount who do everything from research to seo.

My VA who helped me rank for my keywords in a very competitive market charged me $300 as well. She does so much more than seo. She helps me with research, has writers with American english, posts for me on forums, contacts web masters on my behalf and so much more.

Send me a PM if you need help finding one.
