Ebay made their new reporting system available to see how you compare: Quality Click Pricing Preview Report | eBay Partner Network Blog | eBay Affiliate Program News now you can see what you will make under the old system and the almost new one. how'd you all do? amazingly mine shows that I'd have made 125% MORE, or over double what I make under the current system. Not sure if things will stick, but as much as I odn't like the new system, so fare it's looking like I'll make more. how do your reports look? |

It shows me getting dinged for about 25% - they're certainly taking away my incentive to promote big-ticket items.

Holy crap. If I am reading this correctly, my report for August started on 8/18 - 8/27. I've made a whopping $.40 in that time and my QCP earnings are $22.12. If this is true, can I get converted to the new system ASAP!!! It will be really interesting to see how it all plays out, but right now I am loving the new system. -Brad |

We're down about 5% based on the Aug 18 to today numbers. Mind you, we took measures on various sites we manage to reduce the number of invalid (i.e. Bots and the like) clicks that were being generated. I'm glad the EPN QCP tool has been released; it will at least give us some sort of foresight into future earnings based on this new model. To be honest, I found the new QCP EPC numbers confusing at best. Let's give it a chance. There was a time when we swore by AuctionAds (just until around the time that ShoeMoney sold it) and then boom, eBay came out with all the very interesting tools on EPN after their departure from CJ. Interesting times. All that said, our earnings from EPN far exceed those from GOOG, YPN and the like. It boils down to the target market (and product niche) for your particular site(s). Now it's time to try and demystify the EPN QCP conundrum. Rob |

I like the new system. Previous months under the old system were more like a rollercoaster ride which is nice for the adrelanie boost days but not so nice for the downfall days. QCP gives more stability and from the looks of it I'll be making more too. |

So - now that it's been in effect for almost a month how is everyone doing? Running the comparison last month showed income would be cut in half - so far in the real world this month I'm up about 20%. My strategy had previously been to target bigger ticket ($500+) items such as guitars, high end jewelry, etc. It now seems the money is coming in from a couple sites that I hadn't paid much attention to that were listing less targeted items. Does anyone know how often the quality score is tabulated that sets the click price? |

I went for niches that would likely generate signups under the ol' system. I am down about 50%.
