Review Site with Wordpress

Hi,

I am looking for a wordpress theme where the main page is landing page review style. I am aware of the affiliate theme from unique blog designs for $200. For one, that is a lot of money and I noticed that on that theme, they dont have the categories running along the top which is what I want. I want to have a siloed site but just having a lander style on the main page. A solution I found was WPReviewStore.com - Premium Wordpress Review Themes! - WPReviewStore.com but they don't seem to be selling themes anymore. I tried purchasing one with no avail. Can anyone recommend an alternative? Many thanks in advance.

    Hi,

    I think you can accomplish this with simple wordpress theme, with custom page
    template, which is of review landing page style and that page is set as static homepage.

    You just need to have a simple custom wp page template, and when you create the
    page you want to setup as homepage, select that custom template in drop-down menu
    in right side, as page template...

    simply google more on Custom Wordpress pages templates, or pm me if you need
    specific help.

      I found Brian Gardner's StudioPress to be a good Wordpress Theme. It doesn't have a lot of junk in the code like some of them do. If you need help with customizing, let me know.

    I have a review site using wpreviewsite.com. I have basic CSS & HTML knowledge and i had to hire someone to custom code it because it was above my level..but like i said, i have just basic design skills so if you're petty good you should have no problem setting it up and customizing it.
