Tips for Kindle volume publishing

I'm looking for tips for success tips from people who publish many, many books on the Kindle platform. What kind of pitfalls should I be on the lookout for? What kind of processes should I build or develop to make building my Kindle book publishing empire go by faster and smoother?

If you're using any kind of automated promotion system, I'd also like to know. Thanks for helping a fellow publisher out.

Kindle is no longer a numbers game. So you should focus on the quality instead of the quantity. Your books would be generically with a poor quality if you focus only on the number of books. Your competitors will outrank your books easily and your sales will dry out quickly. And even if you currently have success with this strategy ...new authors are coming everyday so it's just a matter of time until your books will be "invisible" (= no passive income; no long-term success).

Start slow and find out yourself what quality is required to be successful with Kindle books firstly. Then start with the outsourcing step by step. Take a few writers and see how many books you're able to publish. Then outsource the cover designs, the formatting, the marketing etc. Your business, your income, your personality, your success is something that has to grow naturally. This takes time and you should take this time.
