Going to make a product soon, and I have a question

Hello. I'm going to be releasing a product soon, basically an ebook. No it's not going to be sold here on the forums, nor will it be sold via clickbank. It's going to be sold from my website.

I will be selling products on this forum, and clickbank in the future. I just have a simple question for everyone.

My question is:
How do you sell an ebook, but make it a non-refundable? How do you set it up, so that it's non-refundable?

I know that it sounds crazy to do this, but I have my reasons.

You see, I'm going to be building up my name, and the last thing I need to do is wimp out on my product.

I want to stand behind my quality product, and if I make it non-refundable, that means I am confident in my products.

Thank you for your time.

Refund Policy is a must. No payment processor will allow you to process payments without a refund policy. You have to issue refunds whether you like it or not.

Clickbank has a 60 day money back guarantee that you must oblige to if you want to use them, all other payment processor also have similar refund policies.

You are looking at it all backwards...

If you have no refund policy then you are hiding behind your product instead of standing by it. If the product was a good product then you should be 100% comfortable in offering it for sale - refund or no refund.

Refunds are part of the business.

Build a solid product and you don't have to worry much about refunds ... but you do have to offer them. No one will trust your product without it.

Backwards. If I see a non-refund policy that shows a lack of confidence since most people will not refund a quality product. If they do, I dont think you want them as customers anyways. On my product I put a unconditional refund as I am confident in my product. I think its part of business.

You may have it on your site, but you may want to look at your friends here at WF for reviews, testimonials, feedback and help you make it stronger. The people here (sniff, sniff) have helped me a lot (sniff sniff), thank you guys, someone get me a kleenex

Yes the others are right. Let's flip the script shall we? Say you entered a store and bought something only to find out that you could not exchange the product, get help on how to make it work for you or get a refund. You wouldn't be too happy and you'd probably swear up and down that the store was run by raving theiving unmentionables. So if you went into another store and they were warm and said to you look if it works great, come back and buy again but if it doesn't come back and I'll fix it for you, exchange it with another or if you are completely unsatisfied I'll refund you every red penny.... I think store number 2 would have your respect, praise and admiration... you would tell everyone how well you were treated. Its the same mindset with internet marketing.

    Good Luck,

Like the others have said, you should have a refund policy for many reasons. The payment processors want it or make it mandatory and you don't want to hurt your reputation. Put out great stuff and don't worry too much about getting refund requests, because if you do that, you won't get many. I've sold a ton of info products online and some of them are pretty pricey and my refund rate is less than 2%.
