Blowing off parts of the video

Lets say I have recorded a video, but I have information in the video that I want to blow off so that I keep other people's email addresses for their privacy, what do I do? Anyone guys? I see videos that the person recording had blowed off some parts and I want to do it, but the thing is I have already recorded the video, how can I do it so I keep my subscribers' information private

Did you run this through a translator? "Blow off" doesn't make sense here...can you explain what you mean?

Not sure how subscriber info is connected to video views.

I think "blow off" means "blur". How to blur parts of the video will depend on the video editing software. It can be done pretty easily using Camtasia or PowerPoint, assuming the portion of the video you want to blur stays in the same place.

Ok let me try explain.

So I have generated MLM Leads that are targeted in one day, so I want to share that with my subscribers and my audience showing proof and how I did it.

So I logged into my email account to share the screen and I did record the video.

But because the leads' email addresses are being exposed, I can not share that as it is not good to their privacy sake.

So I want to see if I can blow off the first part or the email and leave out the @gmail.com or the @yahoo.com part of their email addresses

I see other people doing that but I do not know how it is done and what tool I need.

OK. If you use a video editor you can drop in a blur or a black square over the info you want to remain unseen.

Not sure if the Youtube editor lets you do this, but as Kurt says it's an easy thing with an editor.

Ok guys thanks so much for the help, I just found a youtube video that explained how to do this without downloading any software.

Youtube actually has a tool they call Youtube Blurring Tool

To do this, you just upload your video, then you click on Enhancements, then you will see an option that says ,"Blurring Effects"

You can blur faces or you can do custom blurring where you can select a custom area you want to blur

Hope others do get value from this
