Yes, the question is in the title. Let us know your opinions, whats working for you and what you are doing. Where do you think there is more money to be made?

IMO both are very good for making money. I use both of these (and other ways as well). I believe in diversification.

Whichever one works for your situation. There are pros and cons to both. I know someone making a killing selling liquidated products on Amazon, eBay, and such. But he has easy access to suppliers. If you're living in the great plains of Kansas or Nebraska, and all you have are scarecrows and crops, perhaps stick with farming instead.

Both have their perks but if you do ecommerce right then more money can be made there because you are in control of what you sell instead of what others click. But both have their perks as I stated.

Ecommerce and Affiliate marketing can both be profitable. Some people focus on both. Some focus on just one. Which one is better may depend upon your niche.

Unless you are creating the products or have exclusive rights to them yourself then even eCommerce is very comparable to affiliate marketing.

So really you should get as much training on both as you can.

Once you refer a customer to a business and the customer make purchased then your job is done. You just get paid your commission. You don't worry about the product and customer support in Affiliate marketing.

But in E-commerce, you are the responsible for the customer support of your own product.

This is true, but if you get the visitor on your email list before you send them to the vendor's site then you're just getting started.

None is easy if you don't have first hand IM knowledge.
Perhaps you may want to begin with affiliate marketing.

There is a huge amount to be made in the E-commerce space, I currently dropshipship on Ebay, when I first started out I didn't have a clue what I was doing. I soon reached out to a huge Ebay seller and he taught me everything.

Im now doing 100+ sales every day on eBay...

the great thing is, most of its on auto-pilot.

Im now reaching out for more passive income streams.

the only thing that has worked for me and is still working for me (since 1999) is ebay.. i tried them all (clickbank, $7 info products, ebooks, plr, blogs, mini sites, etc... the list is really long) and failed. I tried for years too.... Now I just concentrate on ebay.

For me Aff. Marketing is more passive. Not completely but moreso than E commerce!

well i must say that both of them have their pros and cons and it is not necessary that what is working for person is going to work out for the other as well. As there are a lot of things that are to be kept in mind while starting a business. But it still is true that most of the wealthy people are found to be affiliated with e-commerce. so according to stats the answer will be e-commerce.

Here's my 2 cents and I'm sticking to it.

    1. Neither. Unless you own the co you're an affiliate whether it's ecom or affiliate marketing.

    2. If you're not building a brand you're always going to be building someone else's business.

    3. If you're not building a list you're always going to be building someone else's business.

So, you can likely see my theme here.

Build a brand, build a list and control your own destiny.

What works for others doesn't necessarily work for you. Yes, most of the richest people on the world would be focusing on e-commerce, rather than building someone else brand with affiliate marketing. Know yourself better, and focus on the time, cost and effort that you want to put into your online venture. Some people have all the time in the world to get rich, some people just can't wait to make real money online.

Honestly, it all depends on what you want to do.

I crush it with both but CPA/Affiliate Marketing makes me 4x the income that E-com makes me.

But at the end, it all goes down to this formula

    Traffic + Conversions = Cash.

So you know, find what you love and go hard with it.

If you want to learn E-com, hit up a guy named Jens Elmera, he's unlike these IM "Gurus" who make big promises but don't deliver at all.

If you want to learn CPA/Affiliate Marketing Hit up a guy named Ace Reddy on Facebook, he's killing it and has helped me get started in this game.

Other Legit guys in this game are - Frank Kern, Russell Brunson, Eben Pagan, Don Wilson, etc.
