I was just in the WSO section, I found a product that interested me so I read the pitch. Everything sounded good, so I read some of the reviews. I noticed that other people were buying this product just because of the reputation of the seller, plus it was only $12 for a system. 3 pages of reviews and not a single bad review, I was mesmerized. I clicked the link, went to the sales page, scrolled right to the bottom and hit the buy it now button, without even reading the copy. I've finally seen the power of testimonials. It was worth the 12 bucks just for the lesson I learned. What prompts you to buy? |

I buy when I see an almost immediate massive benefit, and then when I get to the price, it's rediculously low priced. The product has to appear to be worth hundreds - or even thousands - and then it's only 7 or 17 dollars - by that time, 17 bucks seems free. |

I am also convinced with good feedback about a certain product plus a reasonable price. It pays to check the reviews so as to make sure that the product is worth buying.

For WSOs, the testimonials definitely make or break the deal for me, because I know they're from unsolicited real people on the forums. And what's already been mentioned... if they can build up a product to seem exceptionally valuable, and I scroll down attempting to see $75 or $100+ prices, but am met with $7, $17, $27, etc. instead, I'll practically be scrambling to get my wallet out as fast as I can. |

It's human NOT to be the one to buy first. Testimonials give a sense of security to the buyer that "yea, this should work for me too"...

good feedback is always something that will generate a sale. the rep of the vendor always helps too. if they have sold good product in the past, more than likely you will learn something that you can use in their new product.

I don't trust testimonials on websites to be quite honest. How do I know there real? Just because so and so from Texas loves this system... now call me cynical but I need more proof for my investment. Buying stuff from here is different, because I know and trust the judgment of people here. Some random website? They want my money, and that's it. Humans are creatures of self-interest, they want to know. What does this do for me! I make it a habit of looking for bad reviews on things I buy, just so I can get another opinion. |
