Hi I'm Ron and I'm a Pusher
"Some wanted to build big websites and bring in new customers through search engine optimization, viral marketing, and other "Pull" marketing methods."
"Others wanted to stick to what the company knew best -- "Push" marketing - - by going out to the Internet market with paid advertisements for low priced products in order to create a list of buyers and then sell those buyers higher-priced, back-end products via email."
Pull marketing methods is what seems to be more popular on this forum and would include article marketing. It's a kind of passive approach in which you're waiting for the free traffic to come to you.
Push methods would be more like going out and getting the traffic. As long as you make more than you spend - you win because you're building your list and making money on the back end.
Personally my success came from being a Push Marketer in that I paid for traffic by having an affiliate program. Once I built a strong list, I also added Pull marketing strategies by launching a forum and getting traffic from user-generated content.
Which one are you? Push or Pull?
Bare Murkage.........
