Super Newbie Needs Guidance on Affiliate Recruitment

Hello everyone,

I am super new and green when it comes to this, so please...be gentle.

I wrote a martial arts book that I wanted to get affiliate help to sell. So far I have uploaded it to JV Zoo and created a sales page. (I am in the process of creating a landing page to capture emails and build a list.)

Now my problem: I have no idea how to go about recruiting affiliates. I plan on Googling this of course, but I also wanted to get some knowledge from you all here.

Since the book I set up is very slender, I didn't want to charge too much for it. Then again I worry no affiliate would want to bother busting their butt to help me if the commission is too low. I'm also not very tech savvy, so I don't know how to make it so the buyer would go from the landing page to sales.

Got any help?

Steve

If your product is a quality product and converts affiliates will find you.

If however you want to find affiliates yourself...

Search a few of the keywords related to your niche and visit some of the sponsored links.

If they have an opt in for they will have a list...

Simply reach out to them and tell them you are launching a product soon that their readers/subscribers might be interested in.

Hope this gives you an idea.

    Steve

    Edit...

Do you have a back end product? If so you may want to consider giving 100% commission on your product and simply making money through your funnel.

I am working on other products. The one I have right now is called THE SEARCH FOR THE WARRIOR'S PATH: A Guide for the Martial Arts Enthusiast. It is intended for people who either want to study a martial art but don't know how to pick one, or for someone who is simply a martial arts enthusiast and wants to know all they can about it. My book provides an unbiased look at the ENTIRE world of martial arts.

The other product I am developing is related to fitness, namely how to make exercise and nutrition work for the average Joe who is NOT rich and cannot afford a lot of workout equipment or fancy "healthy" ingredients. I use my experience with both to show people how they can still get healthy even on a low to average income.

Your ideas above are much appreciated, and I am going to look into doing Google searches ASAP.

Also, my question is: HOW would they find me? My product has a sales page out there on Wix, and it is uploaded to JV Zoo, but I don't quite know how the whole process works.

Quite simple really, people on jv zoo searching for products to promote within your niche will find it in the product marketplace and if they like the look of it will approach you.

I would look into getting a domain and hosting if you have the money.

Oh I didn't realize they could see what is selling. It would be cool if JV Zoo REVERSED that so sellers could see Affiliate Profiles and decide who to approach.

At the moment, I don't have enough money for the hosting part. Domain names are cheap enough these days, but hosting...not so affordable for me.

          Thanks for your help!

You can get a .com domain for .99 cents on godaddy and search for 24/7 zila it's a great free host to start with until you can go the paid route.
