I goofed! Please help me restore my WP site :(

A friend of mine has been trying to change her default url from https://sitename.com to https://www.sitename.com. She hosts and bought the domain at Godaddy. In an effort to help her out and figure out what might be going on, I switched the Url on a site of mine from http://www.sitename to https://www.sitename.com(even though I don't have an ssl certificate on my site) just to see if it would switch. I'm not technical at all and realized I goofed. When I tried to log back into wp-admin to fix it, I got this error:

Your connection is not private

Attackers might be trying to steal your information from www.sitename.com (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID
Automatically report details of possible security incidents to Google. Privacy policy

Any idea how I can restore my site back to what it was? It's not a site that generates revenue, so that's not a problem, but it is a site that I plan to work on soon since it's aged a few years. Thanks.

Steve

You can just ignore the error and click the button to continue to the site anyway. Depending on which browser you are using, the wording will be different, but there should be something on that page that allows you to choose to go to the site.

Contact go daddy customer support. They will fix it. Say this, hello my names blabla and my url is redirecting to a HTTPS can you please change it to a http. Your hosting provider will even change your url to a www or non www for you!!!!!

I know you are not a technical person, but trust me its just a redirection problem.
