Hello Warriors, I'm using xsite pro for the first time, I wanted to design a home page for my site, just a homepage, all other pages are already published on the site. I finished the design of the page, but to find that the only way to publish the page is through the ftp interface of the software. I'm confused, because I'm concerned that the software will replace my whole site with the page I'll publish (i.e. publish a whole new site on my domain that contains only the page I designed in XSP). I need to "extraxct" this single page with all its components and publish it myself on my server...is there a way to do this? When I click source button, I just get the html of the text I add, not the template, but I need the template in the first place? Any help? |

It's done through the publish page - in the help manual look for "publish locally" or "export to your computer (or front page) Easy and quick to do. kay |

On my version of xsite pro which is 1.60 you just click TOOLS>PUBLISH LOCALLY and it will send your files to a folder so you can upload them yourself. Mike |

or, if you don't see the publish locally feature then just google a free ftp server, set it up in seconds and publish it on localhost. Then grab only the needed files.

The best seo software in this world.. Need to write content fast? Use Voice Software or if you are in the health niche then buy Gerovital. | |
