    IMO, you don't use Ping.fm for link building. You use it for social marketing.

    If you are speaking of my WSO, there's two reasons I didn't mention linking:

    1. I posted the entire report in the WSO, so anyone could see and test parts of the system without buying a thing. My offer only sped things up.

    2. My WSO wasn't about linking and never mentions linking as a benefit. Social networks are used to get your words in front of REAL eyeballs, not to build links, which is a secondary benefit at best.

    If you build your social networks properly, then ping.fm will be of great use. If you build a following and make a decent offer, real people will follow those links. If you're looking for a shortcut to link building, Ping.fm isn't your best option.
